Another double Fragrance Friday for ya’ll!
This time, a fragrance for the guys and today I’ve got the exotic and masculine scent, Ted Lapidus ALCAZAR.
The Ted Lapidus brand is about elegance and know-how with a French touch.
It’s a brand that’s modern and structural; where everything is influenced by Ted Lapidus’ passion for the ocean.
With this fragrance, the olfactory profile was influenced by the Mediterranean – A play ground for seducers, a get-away in a land of enchantment, a perfect place where the sand meets the sea.
To recreate this Mediterranean fantasy, TED LAPIDUS ALCAZAR opens with top notes of Orange Leaves, Lemon and Nutmeg. In the heart, Orange Blossom, Lavender and Rosemary and base notes of Tonka Bean, White Cedar and Leather.
It’s a sweet and juicy mens fragrance. The orange blossom gives it a zesty, sweet bite, while the leather and white cedar keep it sexy and seductive.
I love it from the top notes, right through to the base.
It’s masculine by all means, but a little more daring than your traditional mens fragrances.
If you like Euphoria from Calvin Klein, Armani Code, Dolce & Gabbana THE ONE or Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male, then you will love this fragrance.
The design of the bottle is very masculine, and quite elegant. I almost expected it to smell “older” if you know what I mean.
It’s heavy, stylish but also simple and I love the deep blue glass and luxurious metal label.
It comes packaged in a stylish tin that matches the colour of the bottle, which also makes a great holder to keep your cologne safe and secure whilst traveling (on a yatcht in the Med).
Overall, I like it. It’s intriguing and sexy and has a definite level of magnetism.
