Grand White Dinner – Pretoria 2015

The #GrandWhiteDinner, was held for the first time in Pretoria this year, and what an amazing event to be part of!

The secret location, which ended up being the beautiful Pretoria Botanical Gardens, was only revealed a few hours before the event. Thousands of guests gathered, dressed in all white with a touch of green to eat delicious food, listen to live music, drink champers and just have a good time!

And a good time was surely had!

I swear, I felt like like I was an extra in some surreal movie scene. Life-size porcelain dolls, jugglers, ribbon dancers, stilt walkers and more walked about, while amazing acts including French DJ -Didier Moesus, Jody & Callen from Acoustic Element, songstress Lisa Goldin and singer Ricky Botsis swooned us with their sound.

The MC for the night was none other than funny man, Marc Lottering, who was such a pleasant guy that had no problem with hoards of fans approaching him to get their picture taken.

Speaking of pictures, I snapped away all day and night, to give you guys a little taste of this fabulous event.

 

This event is definitely going down on my list of things to do every year!
