My On Board Beauty Essentials

I’ve just returned from the most amazing adventure in Dubai, that you will no doubt be hearing a lot more about, but since I’m in the midst of unpacking, I thought I’d quickly show you guys what I keep in my on-board beauty bag.

I’m a bit of a hoarder and NEED everything with me, but these are my essentials that I took with me on the plane and they all came in handy!

I keep everything in this nifty little clear, zip bag. I can’t remember where it’s from, but it’s the perfect little bag since a lot of airports expect you to keep your liquids etc (under 100ml’s), sealed in a clear plastic bag.

In Dubai they didn’t ask to see my liquids, but on my London trip at Heathrow they asked me to take out my liquids and place them separately, so now I just like to be prepared.

So here’s what’s inside, and why I like to use these products…

Dettol Instant Hand Sanitizer: Is just one of those handy things you need in your travel beauty bag!

Dettol Wipes: Again, because you always need wet wipes handy.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Body Lotion: Becuase flying really dehydrates your skin, and since this body lotion is 100ml’s it’s perfect for my on-board bag – and it smells amazing too!

Filorga Deep Fill: Which works as an amazing primer for eyes and a wonderful “filler” for the rest of your face, filling in those tired, fine lines to make you look more flawless.

Dermalogica Ultrasmoothing Eye Serum: I love to use this eye cream because you can easily apply it (even over your makeup) to brighten and smoothen your tired eye area. It’s a silky gel formula that doesn’t slide, so whether you apply it over makeup, or on it’s own, it’s a brilliant little product that does wonders for your eyes.

Lipsano: I love, love, love this lip balm, that moisturisers, soothes and protects your lips. It’s packed with beeswax, Vitamin E (and sunscreens for the rest of your trip) and makes your lips feel supple and soft!

Inglot Multicolour Bronzing Powder: Which is an amazing face bronzer, but I keep it in my on-board beauty bag in case I feel the need to enhance my eyes with a bit of shadow. The range of brown shades allow you to create a very natural eye makeup look in minutes. I also keep my Estee Lauder eye shadow blending brush in my on-board beauty bag, because it’s short and compact.

Stila Convertible Colour: Because it helps add a pop of radiant colour to your cheeks, and since it’s a cream colour, it can be used to add to colour to your lips too. Extra bonus points since it’s got a compact mirror inside!

MAC Cream Colour Base in Shell: I am obsessed with this stuff (as you can tell)! It’s a creamy, subtle glow colour base that gives your face an instant glow. I use it to brighten up the tops of my cheeks and my brow bone area, just dabbing it into my skin lightly.

MAC Khol Pencil in Teddy: Is one of my all-time fave eye liners. It’s a deep brown shade that is perfect to add life to your eyes and make you look more awake. It smudges really well if you’re going for that natural makeup look and I even use it to lightly define my brows.

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Coffret: Is such a handy miniature perfume, because you always need to smell good and I’m obsessed with Coco Mademoiselle lately!

Lancome Teint Miracle: Which is a beautiful eye brightening pen that’s compact and I just love it! The colour is slightly pinkish, perfect to balance out those tired eyes.

Chanel CC Cream: Because it hydrates your skin, gives it a flawless texture and evens out your skin tone! Love, love, love!

Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Concealer: Which is my absolute favourite concealer ever and besides always being in my on-board beauty bag, I always keep a tube in my handbag as well! It covers like no one’s business and stays in place!
