Band Tees & Bucket Bags

You know that feeling you get when you find T-H-E perfect handbag? Well, it just happened to me! Finally, a bag that not only looks super cute, stylish and edgy, but a bag that fits my lifestyle!

Ladies, say hello to my latest Rebecca Minkoff baby (I call all my Rebecca Minkoff bags my babies BTW); the Unlined Bucket Bag.

Before I show you the beauty of this bag, how I styled it with a bit of a rock-chick edge and why it fits my lifestyle, I have THE best news:

Rebecca Minkoff handbags have just launched in South Africa! As in properly launched – by an authorized distributor and they are available at selected Stuttafords stores. So, you can touch, feel, buy and love all your Rebecca Minkoff bag dreams without having to jet off to an overseas destination, or endure pesky import and customs duties.

You gals know that I have been a longtime fan of Rebecca Minkoff handbags, since I bought my first Love Crossbody bag. When it comes to designer hand bags, her bags are my first choice! The quality is impeccable and all her bags are made from top class leathers and hardware. The styles are trendy, well made and will last you for ages.

I’m so excited to be able to shop this brand in South Africa, so expect to see a lot more Rebecca Minkoff loving over here on StyleScoop! There are so many babies I want, so keep an eye out for a post with all my favourite picks and local pricing. Spoiler alert – the pricing in SA is totally affordable, almost the same as you’d be paying from the Rebecca Minkoff website, sans the shipping and customs, plus you don’t have to wait!

Now isn’t that just the best news? It is the highlight of my year, and we’re only in January!

OK, now let’s talk about the Rebecca Minkoff Unlined Bucket Bag – a beautiful modern classic; made from genuine pebbled leather. It’s soft, yet holds is shape so well and although it looks deceptively small, I couldn’t believe how much I could fit into it!

When the bag is knotted, it holds all my everyday essentials; like my wallet, my sunglasses, car keys, lippies and other handbag essentials, with additional space to play with. When the drawstring is untied, the bag is even bigger and I can fit my DSLR camera into it, together with all the other items.

I’ve been looking for a bag that can hold my DSLR without having to carry a second, not so fabulous camera bag along to events.

The other feature I love about this bag is the adjustable strap, which means I can wear it as a long cross-body (my favourite), or shorten it with the button clips, which doubles the straps making it a chic and easy shoulder bag.

Inside the bag isn’t lined, but it looks beautiful with a metallic finish. It also makes it really easy to find what you’re looking for without having to empty your bag contents on the pavement.

Ohhhh and those studs on the side. Well I’m sure you will agree with me in saying that they give this bag the perfect combination of edgy, sexy, trendy and unmistakably stylish traits.

Such a great bag and the perfect casual day bag for weekends, or a dressy night bag for a girls night out!

I am in LOVE!
