Autumn Transitions

Autumn is by far, my favourite season of the year! It’s not too hot, nor too cold so you basically get the best of both worlds. Sunshine all day and nights where you can cozy up under a warm and fluffy blankie and watch Netflix. It’s the best!

Because this time of year is still too hot to wear a jacket, my go-to is usually wearing a lightweight shirt that I can just slip on when the temperature drops. I must be honest though, as much as I love the sunshine part of Summer and Spring, when it comes to colder temps, I get excited about the clothing.

I prefer to dress up with layers – I don’t know, somehow cooler weather outfits just look more pulled together – like this simple casual black look, that is much more dressed up with a cargo styled shirt and a beautiful handbag that makes a statement all on its own.

I also love the classic autumn colour palette; beautiful warm and bright oranges mixed with gorgeous greens and rich browns. I was never a big fan of green as a colour for my clothes, but this army/ olive green shade is an absolute favourite!

It can be worn with so many other colours! I also loved how I styled a very similar green outfit last year with pastel pink.

  • Black V Neck Tee from Spree
  • Handbag – Via La Moda – Remember I showed it to you gals a little while ago and yes, I’m still lusting after it

Do you love Autumn? What are some of your favourite things about the best season of the year?
