On the 20th March (which also happens to be my birthday), Chanel ROUGE COCO lipstick launches with 24 new shades (29 total). These will be available in six colour palettes, each one named after Mademoiselle Chanel’s closest companions, her friends, her loves and her muses… ROUGE COCO is multifaceted lipstick that embodies sensuality, joy and radiance. This March, Chanel will be launching their new formula CC Cream and let me tell you gals, it is amazing! Besides that, the new Chanel CC cream will also offer more shade options in Beige 20, Beige 30 and Beige 40. When Chanel launched it’s first CC Cream in October 2013, the South African market was only given one shade, 32 Beige Rose. Now, as much as I loved the old formula, the colour was just wrong for me, so it was really sad that I had this amazing product and not be able to use it like it’s supposed to be used. But my prayers were answered and the new and improved Chanel CC Cream comes in my shade too (beige 40 in case you’re wondering) YAY! So what’s new? More comfort on the skin, more action against skin ageing, more protection against pollution and sun damage, more shade options, and more colour correcting! I’ve been dying to show you gals Chanel‘s latest makeup collection for Spring/ Summer 2015. I got to sneak a peek at the collection last month, and now that it’s almost set to launch, I can show you the lineup and my favourites! For this collection, the Chanel Makeup Creation Studio worked with a palette of contrasting shades, adding a touch of delicate and vibrant notes. The colours were inspired by the beauty of Paris in the Spring; when the city’s beautiful gardens revive themselves with fresh blooms. The focus of the collection is a glowing complexion, iridescent cheeks, sparkling eyes and colour burst lips. It’s not a huge collection, but the lineup is beautiful and you will definitely find something to fall in love with. I fell hopelessly in love with Tissé Fantaisie. One of two limited edition eyeshadow quads from this collection. I am obsessed with the copper and coral shades, and the iridescent satin white and slate grey highlights are pretty amazing too! It’s not every day that a girl gets to be a princess; treated to delicious French indulgence and Chanel makeup! If you’re a regular on StyleScoop, you’ll remember that I recently hosted an exclusive Chanel Beauty event for my readers. A few lucky ladies got the chance to experience the love I have for Chanel makeup, whilst sipping on champers (or orange juice), munching on French macaroons and discovering the beauty of Chanel, all while getting their own Chanel makeover. Timeless hits of the 80’s! This November, CHANEL launches its Les Rouges Culte De Chanel Nail Collection; three vintage CHANEL reds, that are so gorgeous you’ll want them all! It was the year 1980 when CHANEL welcomed ROUGE FLAMBOYANT, a pure and energetic red that introduced cheerful energy into the new decade. It’s a perfect scarlet red that oozes style and makes a elegant statement. In 1981, LAQUE ROUGE was added to the CHANEL Le Vernis family. It is a deep carmine red that reveals an incomparable elegance. This red is not quite as solid as Rouge Flamboyant but a great red if you prefer more brownish undertones. In 1987, ROUGE N°19 brought a luxurious blush to the classic red with a subtle shimmer to express playful femininity. This shade has more of a pinkish-purple tone to it and the shimmer is hardly noticeable, but still manages to add a girly dimension to this shade. The thing I love, and have always loved about CHANEL polish, is that one coat is all it takes to achieve vibrant, luxurious colour that is an exact colour match to that of it’s bottle. Like Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, I love poetry! I also love makeup, Chanel and the colour pink! For their latest Autumn/ Fall 2014 Collection, the house of CHANEL draws inspiration from a colour steeped in poetic tenderness: pink, interpreted in a spectrum of shades, an intense and fragile colour collection… This collection also pays tribute to Gabrielle Chanel’s fascination with the art of poetry. Eyes are dominated by pink. With a palette of shadows that are different shades of pink, together with a bright  buttercup yellow, (called ADMIRATION) that brings and element of suprise to this collection. I love pink eyeshadow. Not the Poppie pink from the 80’s! But rather, pretty pinks that enhance the eye! I have green eyes, and pink always helps to intensify the colour. Oh my gosh! Swoon with a capital “S”! How beautiful are these new goodies from Chanel Les Beiges? LES BEIGES, is basically Chanel’s “brand” for “natural, glowing skin”. The products stand out by a unique white case compact (all other Chanel compacts are black). Les Beiges started in 2013 with the introduction of Healthy Glow Sheer Powder, and this month, three new products add a new chapter to the Les Beiges story. Lucky for me, I got to sample the amazing Les Beiges All In One Healthy Glow Fluid SPF and Healthy Glow Multi-Colour compact, which I’ll tell you more about in today’s post. The third product that will launch with this collection is a beautiful retractable Kabuki Brush. All In One Healthy Glow Fluid SPF 15 It’s like foundation, only better! I love this fluid because it’s so lightweight and it looks and feels, almost like skin! The texture is amazing and the combination of a powder and soft focus gel formulation, makes it comfortable, long lasting and just plain beautiful! Coverage wise, it worked really well to give my skin radiance, thanks to the subtle illumination. And, I only needed a tiny bit of concealer to touch up imperfections. New Foundation! Chanel Perfection Lumière Velvet

I don’t think I’ve met a CHANEL foundation, I didn’t LOVE! And now, here’s another one to add to my list of CHANEL beauty faves! This April, CHANEL launches their latest foundation, Perfection Lumière Velvet! It’s their “lightweight second-skin foundation that naturally smoothes and evens out the complexion with a luminous velvety matt finish” . I got to sample this beaut and really love it. First of all, the packaging is gorgeous! It comes in a sleek black, square plastic container and you can definitely see Karl Largerfeld’s influence on this design. I like the fact that it’s plastic, since it makes it easy to travel with, and it’s quite compact as well. Even though its compact, it holds 30ml of product – much like most foundations. The nozzle is a really great feature as well. How it works, is you squeeze the bottle, and it will release the foundation. A real plus since you don’t waste much and you also don’t end up with those cakey bits of old makeup on the nozzle. Ok, now for the good stuff! After posting a sneak peek of the new Chanel 2014 eye collection, I received a few products from this collection to try out… One of my stand-out palettes from this collection was Tisse Vendome! Simply because all the colours looked amazing on the press visuals, I really love the peachy colour in the palette and I don’t have anything like this in my collection! When I got to see the actual product, I loved it even more. The colours come out beautifully when swatched on the skin and I really do love that peachy shade! See what I mean? Pretty right?! The second palette I got to sample was Tisse Venitien. I am really glad I got this palette too because it is absolutely gorgeous! Being a green/hazel-eyed gal, I usually steer away from green eyeshadow. I feel that it doesn’t do anything exciting for my eyes, unless the palette itself is really exciting, and the shades of green are really different! Well, this palette is very exciting indeed.
