Hi There

Winter Classics

Winter Classics

My love for trenches continues! A trench is such a classic piece. It works all year round, no matter the season. I love the structured, almost military silhouette of this one I bought at ZARA recently. It always makes me feel polished and pulled together. My Perfect winter outfit! And what’s winter without a Starbucks Vanilla Bean Macchiato?! I swear, every time I’m at Mall of Africa, I just can’t resist my little Starbucks fix! I’m obsessed!

My Everything Little Black Sweater

My Everything Little Black Sweater

I love, love, love cozy sweaters. In winter, there’s nothing better than wrapping up in a soft, fluffy sweater that feels as comfortable as your favourite blanket and keeps you warm. But there are sweaters, and then there are sweaters! Earlier this year, I hit up the Country Road sale and scored some amazing knitted sweaters for winter. It was then that I realised how beautiful they were and now, I only want to buy my knitted sweaters from Country Road. Why you may ask?

Rounding up 6 of the Best Winter Booties

Rounding up 6 of the Best Winter Booties

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pair of tan, leather winter booties for some time, and I’m happy to say that that the hunt is finally over! I spotted some great winter boots, or rather booties at Edgars, Woolies, ZARA as well as Tread + Miller, before finally deciding on T-H-E a perfect pair from Dune London. If you’re on the lookout for some fab winter booties this season, I’ve rounded up all the booties that caught my eye and why.

Bandana!

Bandana!

To me, a scarf is the simplest accessory that you can add to just about any look to take it up a notch. Right now I have a bit of a fixation with Bandana scarves, which are literally popping up everywhere!

Trench Town

Trench Town

The autumn chill is upon us here in Jozi, and I for one am excited about welcoming the cold. I know, come July, I’ll be begging for summer, but right now, I’m romanticising about gloomy days, snuggle under a blanket with that cozy feeling.

The Ultimate Gift Guide For The Woman Who Seems To Have It All

The Ultimate Gift Guide For The Woman Who Seems To Have It All

I don’t know about you girls, but the older I get the less I want! Is that weird? It’s not that I dont want “stuff”, I do, I just don’t want random stuff that serves no purpose in my life, know what I mean? The funny thing is, more and more women I speak to have said the same thing. They want cool shiz that makes their smiles grow and hearts flutter. So instead of doing OTT Christmas wish lists, I thought I’d put together some small, but inexpensive gift ideas that you can hint-hint for your list to Santa, or if you’re looking to buy a fabulous friend something she’ll actually love this Christmas. And, don’t worry, I’ve covered various price brackets too, starting from R60! Here goes… my Ultimate Gift Guide for the woman who seems to have it all … Beauty Blender & Bling Ring (R600) – This is the ideal gift for the girl who loves makeup and pretty things on her vanity. Two birds, one stone. Stockists, call 0861 11 22 22 Le Creuset Mini Mills (R360, on sale at Le Creuset for R288 ) – If she isn’t already craving some Le Creuset in her life, you’ll be buying her…

Country Road & Trenery, now at Sandton City!

Country Road & Trenery, now at Sandton City!

Lovers of Country Road and Trenery will be happy to know that Sandton City now houses a standalone Country Road as well as a brand new Trenery store alongside it. How B-E-A-utiful is this dress from Country Road? Love the colours, love the pattern, love, love, love! Just look at these beautiful goodies that arrived in the mail! I love you Country Road and Trenery! MWAH! And, to store all my cards, I love this genuine leather Country Road wallet. The cost of the wallet is only R399 and the quality is superb! But, what I love most, besides the vibrant, bright colour is that it’s got so much space for cards.  Next time you’re at Sandton City, pop into one of the stores, or both! As for me, I cant wait for them to open one in Durbs too! I’d welcome them with open arms 🙂
