Imagine that! A black face cream! I love Filorga! Not only have all their products (that I’ve tried) blown me away, but they are such an innovative brand that always come up with mind blowing and skin loving products. Like their new, out of this world Skin Absolute Night Cream, powered by Meteorite Extract! Ah ha! Meteorites! I’m a huge, huge, huge fan of Filorga! I love all their products, and am really impressed with their latest offering, the Filorga Micellar Solution Cleanser & Makeup Remover. To start with, it comes in a supersize bottle of 400ml, and I love that you don’t have to rinse your skin after you’ve cleansed it, as it’s completely soap free. If you’ve got sensitive skin, you’ll know that harsh cleansers can do more harm than good, so I’m really glad that Filorga now has the answer in their Micellar Solution Cleanser. So what is it exactly? Well, it’s a cleansing lotion that contains three main components; Micelles to provide a physiological cleaning action Rhamnose which is a polysaccharide that provides anti-ageing, anti-inflammatory and soothing actions Terhalose which is an active ingredient that helps with hydration and maximum skin comfort while cleansing. What an amazing hand and nail treatment! But, that’s pretty much what you’d expect from Filorga! Every single product that I’ve used from Filorga, I’ve been really impressed with, and Hand Filler is no different. Filorga Time-Filler Eyes

You’ve probably heard me rant and RAVE about Filorga’s amazing Time-Filler Ageing Cream? And just when I thought things couldn’t get any better, they bring out this little gem! Filorga Time-Filler Eyes! The ultimate anti-ageing and absolute correction eye cream! Praise the skin lords! To be honest, I am pretty lazy when it comes to using eye cream. Don’t ask why since I have no idea myself! But after testing this new product, I am back to being a full on eye-cream junkie, and I don’t think I ever want to go back! Like Filorga’s Time-Filler for your face, Time-Filler Eyes blew me away within the first couple of days. I mean, I don’t have any serious ageing issues with my eyes, and while mother nature is a hard contender to beat, I do believe that prevention is better than cure! Blogging for five years (going on six) has taught me many things. One being, that no matter how expensive or how amazing the makeup, if your skin looks like crap, well, your makeup probably will too! Thankfully we live in an era where skincare-skincare-skincare has been drummed into our brains, much like that annoying “next customer please” announcement at Woolies. Filorga, one of my all time favourite skincare brands, have finally launched a serum that will blow your wrinkles and sagging skin away! Filorga Skin Structure hits the shelves in February 2014, and I promise you, you will love it. I certainly do! I got to sample Filorga Skin Structure in November last year. I was eager to try it, since I had already read the hype about this product and in general, I am always impressed by their products. I’m not usually “sold” on lotions that claim to show an almost instant result, simply because, I often find that they don’t. In studies, after 8 days of using of Filorga Skin Structure, 88% of women between the ages of 35-60, said that they saw an instant lifting effect, while 60% said their skin was denser and more sculpted.

Tantastic! 7 Summer Sunscreens

Don’t forget the SPF this summer! There are tons of fabulous products out there and you want to make sure you have at least a few tanning options on hand for beach and pool days. When it comes to SPF I always choose one based on what I’ll be doing on that day. For sporty days spent outdoors I really like Everysun Family Invisi Spray SPF 40 (7). It’s a great spray on product (no cream) and leaves skin light and non-greasy. When it’s really HOT outdoors, thick cream like SPF’s are not my fave, since I  find that they make me feel overly hot. If you suffer from allergies, Piz Buin Allergy Spray SPF 4- (2) is a great new product that that has been designed to protect sensitive skin. While this one is a lotion, it’s very light weight so you don’t feel clammy. For tanning days, when I have limited time to spend in the sun, I like Tropitone Tan Enhancing Oil Spray SPF 6 (1)  which smells amazing. Another oil type spray that is a fave of mine is Piz Buin Tan & Protect Oil Spray – SPF 15 (5). My all time favourite Sunscreen is Piz Buin Active Long Lasting Spray – SPF 20 (6). Only a few more weeks of winter left, and then… SUMMER! I’m already enjoying summer (in Greece), but before I left SA, I made sure to pack my trusty facial mists and summer mist sprays. These are an absolute godsend when the weather heats up, and it gets helluva hot in Greece. The nice thing about mists and sprays, is that they give you an instant boost of hydration, which means you can bear the heat just a bit longer! Stila Hydrating Primer I was hooked on this primer the moment it touched my skin! It’s soft and leaves my skin perfectly prepped for foundation application. Its got a lovely smell that isn’t overpowering, and great to use on pretty much all skin types!
