PARIS is my kingdom.. I stroll through it at will. My light step leaves no eyes still. It’s the perfect little black dress! Guerlain’s new fragrance, La Petite Robe Noire, which translated from French means “Little Black Dress” is a gorgeous scent, that makes this week’s Fragrance Friday! It comes in a beautiful bottle, reminiscent of a French boutique and is packaged in it’s own little gift box – no wrapping necessary! The scent’s main note is unmistakably rose, but with a Parisian twist that kinda reminds me a little bit of YSL’s Parisienne. I’m not the biggest fan of rose fragrances because they always seem to sweet to me, but this one, although sweet has a lovely spicy personality! It makes me want to put on my very best little black dress, gather my hair in a fuss free bun, put on my highest heels and spin around the room like a ballerina. La Petite Robe Noir was first created in 2009 as a limited edition fragrance. In February last year, Guerlain launched the second limited edition fragrance and earlier this year, they decided to bring it back after Guerlain’s in-house perfumer, Thierry Wasser added his modification and French flair to the scent.
