What could be better than a new pair of heels?… I’ll tell you what; Grabbing the last, lustworthy pair, and getting them on sale! I’ve been coveting a pair of sexy lace up heels since this post. Any shoes with laceup details are pretty much like putty in my hands! No wonder you’ll find tons of them all over my Pinterest board. I bought these lace up wedge heels from Zara a while ago, and every time I wear them, I’m almost always guaranteed to get compliments. Some girls will stop and ask me where I got them, others just stare! I still wanted a pair of lace-up heels though. Something with a sexy stiletto. I had seen these gorgeous snake skin leather laceups on Zara’s website and every time I happened to be at Sandton City (which was quite a lot), I kept going in to look for them. I never ever found them, so I just kept waiting… hoping… praying! Until I accepted my fate that I could never add these beauts to my shoe shelf. And then bam! I find it! One last pair and on sale! I’m sure someone must’ve returned them. But, oh well, their loss, my gain! My life is now complete! Well, I…

Black and white is anything but basic! It’s a style staple and in today’s scoop, I’ll show you some bold black and white trends from DUNE London to make your look catwalk ready! Are ya ready? Put your feet into one of these beauties… Although all white heels are a hot trend right now, I just can’t see myself getting past the mental block I have with white shoes. But I can still (almost) wear the trend with these beautiful black Alehsa pumps with an elegant white toe cap! Wear these with black trousers and a fitted white jacket. Or destroyed boyfriend jeans, cuffed at the ankle, with a crisp white jacket over a white blouse. Now these Carys are the business! I love a little animal peeking out and how darn good do these look? I mean! Whoa! I can’t think of one outfit in my closet that wouldn’t go perfectly with them. And I really love these Harmony strappy heels. They remind me of the bandage/ bodycon dress but for your feet. That dress has the power to make your curves look great – so imagine what bandage/body heels can do for your legs! Wrap your arms around these babes… No doubt you’ve heard me mention the…

There are few things in life where I have little self control… Chocolate would be one of them, but shoes… shoes are my real weakness! I could happily have rags to wear, as long as I was wearing my rags in a pair of fabulous shoes! Sky-high killer shoes that is! Like these beauts from ZARA. Aren’t they just stunning!? I spotted them on the ZARA website, and have been going into store, eagerly awaiting their arrival.

This weekend I decided to re-organize and display my heels, and after two days of “closet-re-organizing” and getting all my shoezie-woozies together in one place, I realized that I’m a bit of a boring shoe person. Sad but true! With the exception of my blue suede Steve Madden Trinite pumps, nearly every single pair of heels I own is either black, brown or beige. Hello boring! Now, bear in mind – I’m only talking about high heels here, I do have two pairs of slightly colorful wedges. I love, love, love shoes – as if I need to emphasize this statement! If you’re a regular on StyleScoop then you’ll know just how shoe crazed I am, but when it comes to buying shoes, it’s clear that I’m definitely not a risk taker and definitely tend to stick to the basics. I do have some “wow” pairs of shoes that still make my heart melt when I look at them, but even so, they are still either black, brown or nude. It’s been ages since I’ve bought myself a new pair of shoes, and on my next little high heel splurge, I think it’s high time I adopted some colorful, edgier…

I’d be lying (and you know I would) if I said I wasn’t completely, insanely, truly, madly, deeply in love with shoes! The higher the heel… bring it! Now as much as I love sexy heels, I’m equally obsessed with wedges, possibly more obsessed with wedges. Wow wedges that is… Here are three Seriously Wicked Wedges I’d love to have in my closet right now… The Simple Classic  Trust Steve Madden to bring out a quality, stylish and makes-my-legs-look-miles-longer pair of wedges that are in our financial grasp! I actually saw these babies, called Pammy at Edgars (on sale noggal), but they were out of the black in my size and only had them in pink. Maybe, maybe, maybe I’ll go back for them… The Dream Machine I could soooo picture myself eating nothing but beans on toast to save up for a pair of these. Oh bugger saving up, I’d totally max out my credit card without second guessing – if I could find this pair of Giuseppe Zanotti wedges, that is. Who knows, maybe while I’m in Europe my prayers will be answered and I’ll find a pair? Also that my credit card will be kind enough to let me splurge on them. Dear bank manager, I hope you are reading…

Remember those gorgeous mint heels I posted about here? Well, I got an email from Aldo HQ yesterday to say that these babies will be available in South Africa too! Whoop! They are part of the Aldo Rise collection, Aldo’s fashion week collaborations programme that aims to support, promote and celebrate talent in the fashion industry. This programme allows designers to collaborate with Aldo, turning their visions into reality. Some of the RISE styles will be introduced into select ALDO stores, including Sandton, V&A Waterfront and Menlyn, in June 2012. These stores will feature up to ten exclusive ALDO RISE styles from the various RISE designers. Designers include Preen; a London-based Duo, JW Anderson, Libertine designer Johnson Hartig and my personal fave, Mark Fast, creator of the minty perfect Aldo heels. MARK FAST The Mark Fast x ALDO RISE collection showcases the intricately handcrafted elements of Fast’s ready-to-wear line. “I took inspiration from a bit of tribal and metallic glam,” says Fast. The heeled style features his iconic cut- out details and comes in 4 bold colors. Take a look at some of his other styles! Which is your fave? I think I’m still hooked on the minty nude ones!

Nothing says Shoe Porn quite like a pair of kill-ah Brian Atwood heels! These babies, “Drama” are just that… D-R-A-M-A! The Drama Pumps are closed toe platforms in patent nude leather with a contrasting heel that stands 140mm high (yeah baby!). When I saw these babies, the first thing that came to mind was Victoria Beckham (DUH). So, I Googled to see if she had a pair and, of course, Ms Becks does – we do have the same taste after all, she just wears the shoes and I write about them. Back to some dramatic dreaming…
