I’m so into boho at the moment, it’s become my new favourite way of dressing. Boho is all about pretty florals, lace accents, distressed denim, layers of jewellery, pom poms, beautiful blues/ turquoise, tassels and a big ol’ summer hat. All you need is bronzed skin, nude sandals, a pair of Ray-Ban’s and the beach! I found T-H-E absolute cutest little boho inspired blouse that I picked up for a song at the Old Khaki sale! It’s the perfect little bohemian summer top that can still be worn in Autumn – if you’re like me and thinking about next season already. It’s got just the right amount of lace and a gorgeous print, and it’s lose and comfy to wear all day. Plus its blue, so I just couldn’t resist it! I usually wear a size 8 at Old Khaki, but found that the 8 in this style was a bit too big, so I got a size down to a 6 and it’s a perfect fit! Look of the Week – Boho Braids

Boho braids are right up there among my favourite hairstyles! This week I wanted to try out a version of boho braids, but a little neater and tighter, so that the style would hold all day. Since I had the whole boho thing going on with the hair, I wanted to wear a girly, lacy dress that would compliment this look. My cream, Bershka dress was perfect! To keep the look current without making it look too “bridesmaidy”, I wore a chunky neckpiece with pearl accents, and although I didn’t shoot any pics of my shoes, I wore nude, leather sandals. The hair style My hair doesn’t usually hold braids too well (as it is superfine), but since discovering TONI&GUY Sea Salt Texturizing spray, my braids stay put all day! After I washed my hair, I sectioned it in two layers – top and bottom. On the top layer I sprayed a little Toni & Guy Sea Salt Texturing Spray, and avoided spraying it on the bottom layer (tell you why just now). Shoe Porn – Nicholas Kirkwood Leather and Lace Booties

Everyone who knows me or reads my articles knows I love shoes. For the whole of December (and yes I am starting early :)), every Tuesday Ill feature a new pair of #shoeporn, because even though we can’t have them all, a girls’ allowed to dream. Today’s Shoe Porn goes to these sexy Nicholas Kirkwood Lace Booties from his Fall/ Winter 2010 collection. I fell in love with them the moment I saw them in the September issue of American Vogue and couldn’t stop drooling – I’m sure you can see why! Duh These babies will set you back about R6K, but they are so well worth it. That’s if you are willing to sacrifice food for a little leather and lace and loads of oh-la-la! I’m sure you’ve heard the term “Toe Cleavage” before. If you havent’ toe cleavage is when your shoes are low cut enough and expose the top of your toes. Quite similar in fact, to when you show chest cleavage – just enough to look sexy without bearing your bits.
