I’m all for timeless pieces; a nude, double breasted trench, denim shirts, Hunter Boots, beautifully structured handbags and stylish sunglasses. And this is one of my favourite ways to put the whole look together! This lightweight apricot trench will be such a staple for Spring, but I couldn’t wait to wear it now! I usually wear an 8/small, but decided go get this one in a Medium, since I knew that I would be wearing it over something. I actually wish I had gone for the Large, just to give my arms more space when I wear it with something like my denim shirt. But nonetheless, I love it! I love how many different style options this lightweight trench offers, and although it’s not as thick or wintery as a classic trench, it’s still a great piece that offers the same, endless styling options. Denim and Spring… two of my favourite things! For Spring 2013 (which started in the Northern Hemisphere in May this year), Levi’s collaborated with Liberty London to create a fun, spring inspired capsule collection of denim must haves. Levi’s X Liberty features two exclusively designed Liberty prints, Carlin and Kerr Bandana, which have been worked into denim pieces from the Levi’s archives, to create modern and trendy pieces. The collection features 15 items, including the 501 denim shorts, trucker jacket, boyfriend skinny jean, a bustier as well as a small collection of accessories. Sadly, this gorgeous range will not be available in South Africa, but if you’re lucky enough to live in the UK or US (or have a friend who does), then you might be lucky enough get your hands on one of these exclusive pieces. I am in love with this very versatile drop waist dress from Levi’s. It’s the perfect little summer dress that can be worn in so, so many ways! I wanted to wear mine with some cute summer wedges, but alas, the weather has not been playing nice, and so I opted for an Autumn look in the middle of summer. It’s also been raining non stop in Durban lately, so I thought I’d pair it with my rain boots. I love the “leathery” fabric of this dress and the zip down the front, but my favourite part has got to be the pockets. I love pockets! Dress: Levis.
