Save/ Splurge – Long Lasting Foundations

I’m constantly asked which foundations last the longest, and so for today’s blog, I decided to do a little Save/ Splurge feature on my two fave, long lasting foundations of the moment. I have a perfect drugstore buy and a perfect counter purchase to suit both budgets… SAVE Maybelline SuperStay 24H – R154.95 Maybelline SuperStay24 foundation claims to last 24 hours. Well, I don’t know the exact time, but this foundation did last me all day long, right to the point where you can actually see the foundation wipe off on your face cloth when you wash your face before bed. Most of the day my skin looked even toned and natural without getting a thick, waxy feel, although after about 8 hours, it started looking a little yellow! Nothing a little tissue blotting didn’t sort out. It’s a got Micro-Flex Stretch Formula that allows the foundation to move with your skin, so no cracking! I really do like it, especially for the price and I’ve found the perfect shade, 048 Sun Beige.
