I’m still loving my floral bomber jacket, which I bought 2 years ago, and I’m glad to see that this trend is still going strong! So strong in fact, that according to Google’s Fashion Trend Report for 2016, in April, searches for bomber jackets were up by 297% YoY (year-after-year growth) in the UK and 612% YoY in the US. I’m so excited that South Africa, and more specifically, my hometown of Durban, is welcoming more and more high fashion brands! MANGO, the Spanish-born brand who have collaborated with external designers and celebs such as Milla Jovovich, Elisabeth Hurley, as well as Penélope and Mónica Cruz, have been in South Africa for quite some time already.
