Packing and Travelling Like A Pro

I’m constantly looking for ways to pack smarter when I travel, and since I do a lot of travelling (locally and internationally), I thought I’d put together a little guide to packing like a pro, because it’s easier than you think! Your Suitcase Matters On my recent trip to Dubai, I travelled with the amazing TUMI TEGRA-LITE® MAX Large Trip Expandable Packing Case, and it is awesome with a capital A! You guys know I love my TUMI Tegra Lite Carry on, and it was amazing to take the “big boy” with me this time! The Large Trip Packing case fitted everything for my seven-day trip, including; outfits, accessories and shoes (don’t forget the shoes) for about 15+ outfits. The case itself is super light weight, weighing under 7 kilograms (6.44kg to be exact) and since it’s made from a protective material, it kept everything perfectly in place and safe. TUMI Spring/ Summer 2015 Collection

You guys know that my favourite travel brand, is without a doubt TUMI! They really have the most amazing travel-smart luggage that’s also fashionable and will sure get heads turning! Their latest Spring/ Summer 2015 collection is absolutely to die for! How pretty is the Fossil Floral for Spring print on the latest Voyageur collection? After 7 years of success, the Voyageur collection gets a face lift in this collection, with brass zips and leather trimmings. MAXimum Travel Style! TUMI Tegra-Lite MAX Arrives in SA

My favourite travel brand, TUMI has a brand new range and it has finally arrived in South Africa! The TUMI Tegra-Lite MAX is everything you’re looking for in a travel companion and I’ll tell you why… TUMI luggage is just amazing! It not only looks good and high quality that lasts, but I like to call it the “smart travel brand” because it’s made for travel. Packing a TUMI is smart, maneuvering a TUMI is smart, the whole design and technology behind every TUMI is smart, and I promise you’ll look super cool at the airport too! I own a TUMI Tegra-Lite carry-on (the range before the MAX), and I always use it. It’s super lightweight, easy to wheel around, but the only thing I would change about it, is to have a front pocket to store my iPad for when I travel. Time To Travel

You guys! I recently got the most amazing news ever! Next week, little old me, will be jet setting to the UK (first time ever) to check out the latest offering from River Island. The brand launches in South Africa this month (thanks Edgars) and later on, in September, the doors to the first South African River Island Concept store will open! I am so excited that I’ll be getting a first look at what will be on offer, and of course, I’ll share with you guys! I’m also really excited about going to London! Woo Hoo! What to wear?! What to take?! What to See?! Where to Shop?! Questions, questions, so many questions… But the ultimate thing on my mind right now is travelling and getting packed! Packing and The Last Day of Winter

Well, for me anyway :-). I’m off with the Hubz to enjoy some fun in the Sun in Europe today and I can’t hardly wait. We’re off to Greece via Dubai for a whole month, and on the way back we’re spending a few days in Dubai, sightseeing and definitely some shopping! I always tend to overpack and end up not wearing 80% of what I cart along, so this time around I’ve tried to pack a little smarter. Besides, the more space you have, the more you can shop! My biggest problem is shoes! I want all of them “just in case”, which I’m sure many of you can relate to! For this trip I’ve packed one pair of heels, one pair of wedges that double up as “smart shoes”, three pairs of sandals (in black, nude and bright yellow) and my Havianas. Today I’m traveling with my fave, nude ballet flats, so covered there too! I think I’m pretty stored. My Hubz was actually shocked and impressed that I didn’t pack my whole shoe collection.
