Mad about Madden and my blue suede shoes

For anyone that knows me, or reads my Twitter updates, they will know I am absolutely crazy about shoes… I’m kind of like that girl in Confessions of a Shopaholic;  get the same jaw dropping, warm fuzzy feeling when I see a pair of fabulous shoes, and like most girls, I can never have too many! As much as I love my shoes, sadly my shoe display looks nothing like the Fearless Fashionista’s but it’s getting there…

When I was sent a pair of gorgeous, black suede Steve Madden Trinitie shoes about a week or so ago I was over the moon!  Bear in mind,  I’ve wanted these babies for a long time and I found the last pair, in my size and on sale! Brilliant right? Well, no not in my case – my GBF (Gay Best Friend) convinced me to wait another day or two before getting them, at which point they were gone.  My advice, never listen to man when it comes to shoes, even if he is gay – they just don’t understand!

Now that that’s out the way, let me tell you more about my “Maddies” or “Stevies” or what ever nickname you want to give these gorgeous babies.  They are in one word, De-Luscious – they look great, feel great and best of all they go with just about everything.  I had to wait before I could wear them due to the rain in Durban, but it was worth it, and yes, they were noticed.

Today, I got another lovely surprise from the fabulous people over at Jordan & Co. It was another pair of Electric Blue Steve Madden Trinitie’s! These are even hotter, very, very trendy, and make a much bigger fashion statement.  Like the black pair I can’t wait to show them off, but as luck would have it, it’s raining in Durban (again) and I’d rather not take the chance right now – they are just too beautiful to ruin.

So while you drool over the new additions to my shoe family, I’ll be praying to the rain gods.  Really, though these shoes are super comfortable, and if you find them on winter sale, get yourself a pair, they will make you feel like a million bucks, plus it makes you feel even more special, when you know celebs like Kate Moss, Jessica Stroup (Silver from 90210) all have Maddie. Kim Cattrall (AKA Samantha Jones) also has a pair of Steve Madden Trinitie suede pumps.

Beautiful beautiful beautiful! The blue ones are beauties. Perhaps get them scotch guarded just in case you are met with a spot of rain when out and about!

I am OBSESSED with the Steve Madden studded gladiators!

Smart thinking, I think I might just do that! Would hate to have such beautiful shoes ruined.

Thier studded gladiators are gorgeous, I prefer the wedges in their new summer range as it suits my feet more, but they are both really different and very hot!
