A fairly new foundation from the house of Estee Lauder, Nutritious Vita Mineral Makeup is certainly a foundation worthy of all the hype.
This week for my Foundation Friday with Estee Lauder beauty review, I tried out Nutritious. It’s Estee Lauder’s Vita-Mineral foundation that not only gives you great looking skin (as a cover), but simultaneously works double time (undercover) to help your skin recover from all the nasties daily living puts on your skin. The special Pomegranate extract formulation is the magic ingredient that helps to neutralize skin from free radicals.
Overall, Nutritious is a great foundation and probably top choice for every day. Not only for its wonderful vita-mineral properties, but it left my skin with that “yes this is my natural tone” effect, and with only a little brown mascara and clear gloss, I looked totally natural, just that much better! Nutritious comes in a plastic bottle, which is also convenient for carrying in your handbag and great for those of you who travel a lot. Although it’s a liquid foundation, you squeeze out the product rather than pour it out, so it keeps wastage to a minimum.
My biggest demand for an everyday foundation is one that lasts and covers my sun damage, and Nutritious does both perfectly. The lightweight formulation feels great and to get that stay-put effect, I used my Estee Lauder Foundation brush – a product I really, strongly recommend if you want to get the best application and save on your foundation (a little goes a long way with the right tools).
