Coloured jeans are a huge trend for our upcoming summer, and we’re really glad these styles are back in fashion. The latest trend in coloured jeans is bright, technicolour skinny jeans in bright blues and fire-engine reds. Bright Blues Kim Kardashian and Hillary Duff are both fans of bright blue jeans, and as you can see from their ensembles, bright blue jeans work both for a casual cool effect a la Hillary or dressed up with a rocker edge like Kim. Bright blue jeans are best paired with simple white tees and stunner, stand out shoes! Racy Reds For a more stand out take on the technicolor jeans trend, look to stylista’s Hayden Panettiere, Khloe Kardashian and Mischa Barton for a little style inspiration. I love Hayden’s slick black and red ensemble and Kourtney pulls this trend off with leopard print details and a sexy denim shirt. It’s about shape not size

I really love my Levi’s Curve ID’s, I’m sorry, but seriously girls, these jeans are the best thing next to microwave popcorn. I literally LIVE in my Levi’s Demi Curve skinny jeans. Yesterday, I had to go back to wearing an old pair of skinny jeans in my closet – from a brand that shall remain nameless – and I realised just how much I can’t live without my CurveID jeans. In fact, as soon as my paycheck gets settled, I’m off to buy at least two more pairs and finally toss the others once and for all! I used to think this “other pair” I bought last year was the bomb, despite how they squashed my legs like a sausage and the annoying business of having to pull them up every time I sat down or got up, because the waist was so big. Just goes to show how we think we have to accept the inevitable – well no more, thanks to Levi’s Curve ID, it’s about shape not size! Denim is just one of those items that will never go out of fashion. Every season it gets re-invented; whether it’s the wash, the style or the cut. This season, it’s all about the lightweight denim shirt – a staple item no woman should be without. In today’s Trend Report, we show you how to accessorize your denim shirt and turn it into a style statement with inspiration from D&G. For their Spring/ Summer 2010 ready to wear collection (which happens to be our 2011 summer here in sunny SA), D&G featured denim as their key piece. Styling it up with shiny, long and loose hair, leopard print accents, tan boots and aviator sunnies.
