Woolies Scoop! Technicolour Jeans

Woolies Scoop! Technicolour Jeans

Coloured jeans are a huge trend for our upcoming summer, and we’re really glad these styles are back in fashion. The latest trend in coloured jeans is bright, technicolour skinny jeans in bright blues and fire-engine reds. Bright Blues Kim Kardashian and Hillary Duff are both fans of bright blue jeans, and as you can see from their ensembles, bright blue jeans work both for a casual cool effect a la Hillary or dressed up with a rocker edge like Kim. Bright blue jeans are best paired with simple white tees and stunner, stand out shoes! Racy Reds For a more stand out take on the technicolor jeans trend, look to stylista’s Hayden Panettiere, Khloe Kardashian and Mischa Barton for a little style inspiration. I love Hayden’s slick black and red ensemble and Kourtney pulls this trend off with leopard print details and a sexy denim shirt. Mischa’s look is more tomboy and while I love the combination, I’m not too sure about those oversized goggle glasses. Mischa, what were you thinking? Trying to stand out? Get the look Always on trend, go grab yourself a pair from the newly re-launched RE: jeanswear collection at Woolworths. These jeans have a really great…

When in doubt, wear Levi’s Skinny Boot – Outfit Post

When in doubt, wear Levi’s Skinny Boot – Outfit Post

As you already know I live in my Levi’s Demi Curve ID jeans! Recently I’ve been living in a new pair, other than my skinny jeans. The Levi’s Curve ID Skinny Boot is the next best thing, and if you don’t know which style to get in your Curve ID, this is the one! The leg is tailored and fits perfectly, then flairs out just enough to cover your foot. These jeans look fantastic with a pair of heels and even flats. If you’ve got boots, you can even tuck them around the leg and you’re good to go, because they don’t add that much bulk. The whole Curve ID range has been designed to fit your shape, not your size and they have cuts for all booty types; Slight Curve, Demi Curve, Bold Curve and Supreme Curve. The Demi Curve ID frames perfect proportions, flatters your waist and smooths your shape. Take a look… I’m wearing my Levi’s Demi Curve Modern Rise Skinny Boot jeans. Im not sure of the exact name of the colour, but they are the classic indigo blue colour. The top is an old jersey I had in my cupboard (I don’t even remember where…

It’s about shape not size

It’s about shape not size

I really love my Levi’s Curve ID’s, I’m sorry, but seriously girls, these jeans are the best thing next to microwave popcorn. I literally LIVE in my Levi’s Demi Curve skinny jeans. Yesterday, I had to go back to wearing an old pair of skinny jeans in my closet – from a brand that shall remain nameless – and I realised just how much I can’t live without my CurveID jeans. In fact, as soon as my paycheck gets settled, I’m off to buy at least two more pairs and finally toss the others once and for all! I used to think this “other pair” I bought last year was the bomb, despite how they squashed my legs like a sausage and the annoying business of having to pull them up every time I sat down or got up, because the waist was so big. Just goes to show how we think we have to accept the inevitable – well no more, thanks to Levi’s Curve ID, it’s about shape not size! Once you get your shape, and there are a few curve options to choose from; Straight, Demi, Bold or Supreme, everything fits just right! In my Demi Curve…

Levi’s 138 years of originality & the worlds first blue jean

Levi’s 138 years of originality & the worlds first blue jean

The world’s most famous jean; the iconic and original blue jean, Levi’s® 501® celebrates 138 years of originality today, 20th May 2011. To celebrate, we’ve hauled some of the coolest facts on the world’s most iconic denim brand and introduce you to the world’s very first pair of blue jeans. Plus we’ll show you how to become the ultimate Levi’s® collector, by owning one of only 2000 limited edition 501® jeans… The World’s Oldest Pair of Jeans In 1873, Levi Strauss was granted a patent on the process of riveting pants and introduced the World’s first Blue Jean on May 20th! These pants were called “waist overalls”. They had one back pocket with the Arcuate stitching design, a watch pocket, a cinch, suspender buttons and a rivet in the crotch. This original jean was simply known as “XX” – an industry term meaning to be of the highest quality. In 1890 these pants were labeled by the legendary lot number 501® and were called by the designation “lot 501 patent riveted waist overalls” until the 1960’s, when due to popular culture, started being referred to as jeans. Levis 501 was born… Limited edition 501® – Customized Finish To celebrate the…

Since discovering my Curve ID, I’ve fallen in love with Levi‘s again. And the name, Levi’s Curve ID. They are seriously the most flattering, most form fitting and most amazing jeans ever. Because Levi’s Curve ID have been custom designed to suit your curves; so whether you’re a Slight, Demi, Bold or Supreme you’ll find the perfect pair for you! I’m a Demi Curve (how fitting) in case you’re wondering. Levis Listens! At the end of 2010 Levi’s® introduced Levis Curve ID, a revolutionary fit system based on shape, not size. It was created after studying more than 60,000 body scans and listening to women around the world of all shapes and sizes. TREND REPORT: Stylish Denim Accessorizing

TREND REPORT: Stylish Denim Accessorizing

Denim is just one of those items that will never go out of fashion. Every season it gets re-invented; whether it’s the wash, the style or the cut. This season, it’s all about the lightweight denim shirt – a staple item no woman should be without. In today’s Trend Report, we show you how to accessorize your denim shirt and turn it into a style statement with inspiration from D&G. For their Spring/ Summer 2010 ready to wear collection (which happens to be our 2011 summer here in sunny SA), D&G featured denim as their key piece. Styling it up with shiny, long and loose hair, leopard print accents, tan boots and aviator sunnies. This look is simple and achievable, and if you haven’t already got a denim shirt hanging in your cupboard, go out and get one! Or, steal one from your man. The over sized boyfriend shirt cinched in with a tan belt and rolled up sleeves, makes a huge style statement. Get the look! [post-slideshow] I’ve been obsessed with this look since I saw the first images from the D&G show. Check out how I matched up this look with local items.
