Hi There

Marc Jacobs – A Springbok fan?

Marc Jacobs – A Springbok fan?

With our boys in green and gold already in New Zealand defending their world cup title, everyone is a little excited about upcoming rugby world cup. I was, as usual feasting my eyes on some online shopping sites, despite vowing never to shop online again (thanks to a whoping 40% customs charge!). Anyway, whilst on my no spending shopping spree, I came across these wedges by Marc Jacobs’ more affordable line, Marc by Marc Jacobs. Check out the springbokkie on the side! And they even look like our dark green (although they are black) and gold colours! Could Marc Jacobs be a fan of our boys? They are called Wertmuller, have a leather upper and sole and if you want to own a pair you can buy them from endless.com They cost $330.00, which is around R2400.00. Would you buy them?

Burberry Sport – The vibrant and energetic fragrances

Burberry Sport – The vibrant and energetic fragrances

Created by Olivier Polge and Béatrice Picquet and inspired by the Burrberry Sport ready-to-wear collection, Burrberry Sport fragrance offers a modern take on sexy sportiness. The fragrance comes packaged in a modern, graphical and chic bottle that houses the fresh fragrance that’s filled with energy and modernity. One for him and one for her, both revolving around two dominant raw materials; Ginger and Salty Air. Black is for the guys, while the modern-elegant white bottle is for the gals. Both bottles come with their own Burberry Sport wrist band, adding to the sporty finish of the product. I love the gingery scent that makes this fragrance unique. The Burberry Sport for women smells floral and zesty, while the one for the guys has a more woody citrus scent. We got some behind the scenes footage from the Burberry Sport campaign featuring British models Lily Donaldson and Douglas Booth. Check it out below. [portfolio_slideshow exclude=”18330,18329″]

Tam-talizing digital clutch

Tam-talizing digital clutch

If you’re a hip, trendy fashionista that’s into technology, or just stylish surfing, then you will love the new HP Vivienne Tam designer Notebook. This little, red-hot-number that can be mistaken for  a designer clutch purse, is  powered by HP technology and was unveiled by designer,Vivienne Tam on the runway, during her New York Fashion Week show in September 2008. Stylishly finished in a true-to-Spring peony design, the notebook was inspired by Tam’s “China Chic” style, which combines a blend of Asian and Western cultures. “The peony is the national flower of China. They are beautiful and symbolize prosperity, good fortune and happiness,” said Tam. “Their many layers are similar to a modern woman who is as savvy in expressing herself with her personal style as she is with weaving technology into the fabric of her rich and multi-faceted life.” she says. “When I was approached by HP to create a special edition notebook, I could see the design in my head instantly,” said Tam. “The notebook is a true reflection of the needs of a modern woman who cares about fashion but is also passionate about her technology. I wanted to create a notebook that would appeal to women…
