This time of year, I always get excited to dress up. So I wanted to do a little party dressing guide, something that I think would make for a perfect party celebration look… I’m obsessed with this Metallic Pleated skirt! How cute would it look with this graphic, Pop The Champagne Tee? With so much sparkle, you can keep accessories minimal, but I’d definitely pair it with a gorgeous sparkle clutch, nude pumps and these oh-so-beautiful double pearl earrings. Since the outfit takes centre stage, for the makeup, I’d wear this look with pink and purple eye shadow, glowy iridescent cheeks, nude lips and a high sparkle, high sparkle nail polish! Of course a bottle of bubbly is in order – my pick, always J.C Le Roux Scintilla Shop The Look… TIP for shopping online at US retailers: Sign up for a free USAddress account and have all your US packages sent to that address. I’m counting down the days to celebration season! And, what better way to bid au revoir to 2013 and bonjour to 2014, than with a glass make that a bottle of 2003 Scintilla, J.C Le Roux’s award winning bubbly, created in the signature Cap Classique style (Méthode Cap Classique). So, although Scintilla is not technically “champagne” – since anything that isn’t made in Champagne France can’t really be called champagne – the production process of J.C Le Roux’s Méthode Cap Classique’s follows the same style that the French folk use when the make Champagne. In other words Scintilla, it’s not simply carbonated wine. It sparkling personality is earned, through years and years of perfection in a bottle! It’s amazing! Totally delicious, classy and ultra-sophisticated! Scintilla is made with a blend of 75%Chardonnay and 35% Pinot Noir. The two wines have spent seven years on the lees, which is the result of Scintilla’s smooth character, complex flavour and superior taste. Class my dears, class! My preference in bubbly is usually on the sweeter side! But, when it comes to the real deal (Champagne or  Méthode Cap Classique for example), then I prefer it a little more crisp with a dry palette that is well balanced. I will defs be celebrating the…

I have wanted a pair of Louboutins for the longest time! I’ve had an abnormal fixation with them since the first time I saw them – the little red sole just speaks to my soul! It always has and it always will. Sadly for me, Louboutins on a bloggers budget… exactly not likely to happen! But oh, it did! Thanks to J.C Le Roux! To launch their pink La Fleurette Non-Alcoholic bubbly, J.C Le Roux sent me as well as ten other bloggers, a press pack that came with a challenge… to create a post that would express how we’d live #LeGoodLife. The prize… a pair of Louboutins that we’d get to pick out (within a certain price range). I knew I had to win! I had to! I had to! I had to! And, luckily for me I did! When I submitted my entry I was holding thumbs and praying to the red-sole-shoe-gods every night, because all the blogs that were created were amazing! When I got the message to say that I had won, I literally screamed like a wile animal! We were out in the bush on a little African getaway – with no cellphone reception for three days! The same week that J.C Le…

/ My Outfit: Sunglasses: Prada, Denim Shirt: Edgars, Floral Pants: Forever New, Black Tee: Cotton On J.C Le Roux sent me a bottle of their new Non-Alcoholic bubbly, La Fleurette, just in time for spring! Together with a fun press pack, they challenged me to create a post that would express the floral and fabulous tones of La Fleurette Non-Alcoholic. The stakes are high! As in Louboutin heels high! After popping the cork, I poured myself a glass of La Fleurette Non-Alcoholic. Sitting in my kitchen, I tried to come up with something exciting. Something unique and fun that would not only excite me and the peeps at J.C Le Roux, but also my fabulous StyleScoop readers too. I found myself staring right at the answer… my mixer! September also marks the month of StyleScoop’s fifth Blogoversary and I had been wanting to bake a birthday cake. What better opportunity? So I went with a rose inspired cake and used La Fleurette Non-Alcoholic in the ingredients. After doing some research, I discovered that “Fleurette” means “an ornament resembling a flower”, so my cake idea blossomed into a cupcake bouquet. This was really fun and easy to do. I got some tips on how to make a cupcake bouquet…

Forget good food and wine, nougat and wine is so much better! When you just happen to be in Cape Town, whether you live there or you’re just visiting, you absolutely have to take a drive to Stellenbosch and visit the House of J.C. Le Roux to indulge in their Nougat & Wine pairing. I’ve been “wine tasting” before in Cape Town, but this was a completely different atmosphere. The set up is uber luxe and indulgent from the moment you walk in. Beautiful decor, a quick 5 minute tour through the winery (to see how it’s made without the boring tour guide shpiel) and then onto the wine tasting! Bring on the bubbly! You get your own table that’s set up with five fabulous wines and a guide (ours was the very knowledgeable Simon Dicks) who explains the different wines to you. It’s not so much a lesson, but rather of an interesting story behind the bottle and how it’s made. With the Nougat & Wine pairing, you get to sample five wines, each one matched to compliment a type of Nougat. First up; Pinoit Noir, Pinot Noir Rosé  and La Vallée Rosé. These three wines are Méthode Cap Classique wines, which means…
