GOSH Cosmetics now Available In South Africa

GOSH Cosmetics now Available In South Africa

There’s a huge buzz in the makeup world, with two international make brands that have just recently launched in South Africa. One of these brands is GOSH Cosmetics. GOSH Cosmetics is a Danish brand that has been around for over 25 years and available in over 78 countries. Known for it’s colourful, edgy and innovative products, the GOSH Cosmetics range is full of fun and inspiration. Comprising of a full range of products, GOSH Cosmetics includes everything from makeup to skin care, nail polishes to fragrances, to professional hair care as well as a full range of bronzing and self tanning products. While you will definitely hear more about GOSH Cosmetics on StyleScoop (we love the range), here’s my take on just some of the goodies I got to try out right now. Natural Touch Foundation (R180) This is a great foundation for summer. While it’s rich and creamy, it feels super light on the skin. It’s got an SPF of 8 and coloured with silicon mineral pigments that give your skin a natural finished tone. Coverage wise, I found it okay for everyday. It’s fairly long lasting and definitely feels like you’ve got nothing on. It’s great for days when you want to look polished, but not look as…

Inglot’s Hawaiian Bar Colour Collection

Inglot’s Hawaiian Bar Colour Collection

How cold has the weather been this week? I am frozen solid! On the bright side (and I do mean bright side), Inglot has a great new summer inspired collection, that will brighten up your mood and would look awesome paired a South African summer tan… All we need now, is for the weather to play nice, the rain to stop and the sun to come out and give us some summer lovin’. Inglot’s Hawaiian Bar Colour collection includes 5 brand new Freedom Eye Shadow colours, 8 new Freedom System Blush shades, 2 new AMC Multicolour System Face and Body Powders, 10 new Sleeks Lip Glosses and 12 new Nail Enamels… I got to play with some goodies from this collection, take a look… From the 5 new Freedom Eye Shadow shades, featured above are colours; #313, #612 and #311. The other two shades from the collection are; #312 and #314. From the 8 new Freedom System Blushes, I tried out #70. I do love the fun, pastel shades of the eye shadows and while the blush does look quite bright in the palette, blending a tiny amount with a brush on your cheeks gives them a lovely summer glow. This palette also reminds me of watermelon! Yum! Bright and bee-u-tiful, Inglot Sleeks Cream #102 is…

The StyleScoop PURE Palette by INGLOT

The StyleScoop PURE Palette by INGLOT

I have some very exciting news to share with you guys today… As you know INGLOT is one of my personal favourite makeup brands for eye shadows! Not only do they have a gazillion colours to choose from in their freedom system, but they are super pigmented and long lasting. Better yet, they are affordable at only R79 for over 2 grams of shadow! The only problem with INGLOT (if you want to call it that) and I’m sure many of you will agree, is that there are so many colours, it’s often difficult to choose a single shade. I’ve often found myself going in there to buy a brown and been so overwhelmed by the different brown choices, that I end up not buying anything! So, I thought I’d make it easier for you guys. I’ve put together a palette of colours that I think will work on just about anyone, and named it the STYLESCOOP PURE PALETTE by INGLOT! If you like this colour palette you can go into any INGLOT standalone store and ask for it by name, so there is no need to write down the different codes for each colour. This gorgeous 5-pan palette is my absolute fave at the moment and…

Foundation Favourite – Chanel Teint Innocence

Foundation Favourite – Chanel Teint Innocence

I absolutely love this foundation. I first used it when Chanel’s international makeup artist was in South Africa and she did my makeup using it. Instantly I was in love with the satiny texture and sheer effect. If your skin is looking dull, Chanel Teint Innocence compact foundation will pick it right up, giving it a fabulous, flawless glow. It comes in this beautiful Chanel compact, but when you run out, you can by the refill without having to throw away your compact. I love this idea, because the refill costs less than the whole compact, and you’re also doing your little bit for the environment and using less plastic! Bonus! OK, back to the foundation and all its fabulousness! It comes in six shades, I’m a number 40, and it’s perfect for my skin. I love how it glides on and gives your skin an instant hydrated look and and feel. The Chanel Teint Innocence compact comes with a little dry sponge that you can use to apply your foundation, but I prefer to use my foundation brush, pressing the foundation into the skin instead of dragging it. This really gives it a nice, satiny finish. Its packed with multi-vitamin…
