Celebrate Spring with 3 Delightful New Jasmine Fragrances

Nothing says hello and welcome Spring, like the delightful scent of Jasmine. At about 5pm, when the sun starts to set, that gorgeous aroma fills the air, signifying the start of new and exciting things to come. It’s one of the things I look forward to most every spring. So to welcome the glorious season of Spring, and since it’s Spring Day in South Africa, I’ve rounded up three of my favourite jasmine loaded fragrances for this season. All three are absolutely gorgeous scents, and with each one, as I sniffed them, my reaction was pretty similar… “this is going to be my new signature scent for Spring 2017!” If you’re into Jasmine and white florals or just looking for a bright, happy and beautiful scent to wear, then these three will surely put a spring in your step!

Chanel Spring Summer 2015 Makeup – Reverie Parisienne

I’ve been dying to show you gals Chanel‘s latest makeup collection for Spring/ Summer 2015. I got to sneak a peek at the collection last month, and now that it’s almost set to launch, I can show you the lineup and my favourites! For this collection, the Chanel Makeup Creation Studio worked with a palette of contrasting shades, adding a touch of delicate and vibrant notes. The colours were inspired by the beauty of Paris in the Spring; when the city’s beautiful gardens revive themselves with fresh blooms. The focus of the collection is a glowing complexion, iridescent cheeks, sparkling eyes and colour burst lips. It’s not a huge collection, but the lineup is beautiful and you will definitely find something to fall in love with. I fell hopelessly in love with Tissé Fantaisie. One of two limited edition eyeshadow quads from this collection. I am obsessed with the copper and coral shades, and the iridescent satin white and slate grey highlights are pretty amazing too! / My Outfit: Sunglasses: Prada, Denim Shirt: Edgars, Floral Pants: Forever New, Black Tee: Cotton On J.C Le Roux sent me a bottle of their new Non-Alcoholic bubbly, La Fleurette, just in time for spring! Together with a fun press pack, they challenged me to create a post that would express the floral and fabulous tones of La Fleurette Non-Alcoholic. The stakes are high! As in Louboutin heels high! After popping the cork, I poured myself a glass of La Fleurette Non-Alcoholic. Sitting in my kitchen, I tried to come up with something exciting. Something unique and fun that would not only excite me and the peeps at J.C Le Roux, but also my fabulous StyleScoop readers too. I found myself staring right at the answer… my mixer! September also marks the month of StyleScoop’s fifth Blogoversary and I had been wanting to bake a birthday cake. What better opportunity? So I went with a rose inspired cake and used La Fleurette Non-Alcoholic in the ingredients. Every year when a family member comes from Greece, I put in my request for my favourite fashion label, Raxevsky. I phone my mom up, send her a list of “please get these for me” and after much dreaming and drooling, I’ve got some nice new clothes to play with 🙂 Their summer 2011 collection is absolutely breathtaking! I can’t decide on one outfit, two or the whole collection. I want them all (damn you budget)! This week, my column is a little different.  This time I’m discussing a fabulous pair of shoes I bought this weekend, but really can’t decide if I like them all that much.  More importantly, I can’t decide if they go with much. The shoes themselves are FABULOUS and very comfortable too! I tried them on with pair of bootcut jeans, and they look hot – the perfect shopping shoe, plus they match one of my gold bags. So whats my problem? Well besides the jeans, I can’t find anything else in my cupboard that go with them.  I tried them on with a denim skirt – a no, and a pair of denim three quarter pants – double no! So I did a bit of research online to find out what other types of clothing compliment wedges, and this is what I came up with. Most of the sites suggest wearing wedges with flowy dresses.  There’s my first problem – I need to stock up.  Apparently they balance out puffier skirts a lot better.  I’m not into puffy skirts, so there goes that possibility.  Wrap dresses are supposedly another item that look good with wedges.  I can do wrap dresses…
