Hello New Summer

Today, I wanted to share some of the summer trends you can expect to see at Edgars this summer. But before we get into into the trends, have you guys been to Edgars lately? I got to shop at the newly styled Eastgate store a few weeks ago, and I must say, I love the new refurbished look, and the brand-within-brand concept. We Love Summertime at Woolies

Some really beautiful, trendy pieces at Woolies lately! I don’t know about you guys, but down in Durbs it really hasn’t felt much like summer. It’s been raining, overcast and a little too gloomy for my liking, so much so that I haven’t given summer clothes much thought. So, thanks to Woolies for sending some summer my way! Like these cute, pink leopard print ripped shorts. They are just perfect for summer and I can’t wait to wear them! They fit really well and I’ll think we’ll be great friends when the sun heads down to the East Coast. I’m also smitten with this must-have denim waistcoat. I bought a similar one from Woolworths last season and wore it to death. It’s a great closet essential that can be worn year round. This simple, yet not so simple black tee is such a great fit, I’m going back for more! I absolutely love that it’s shorter in front and longer at the back and looks great, especially with shorts! Big City Brights

I’m so excited for summer and all the gorgeous brights! I shopped a little at Gateway this weekend, actually a lot, but picked up some really nice bright sparks… Cute tee’s, bangles, flats and belts without breaking the bank! Take a look… First up, this gorgeous brightly coloured striped tee from Mr Price! Believe it! I am very impressed with the selection Mr Price has these days, and this gorgeous tee is just one of my many purchases from Mr Price. I love it because it’s over-sized so looks casual cool paired with skinny jeans and some cute flats. I also like how it can be pulled to one side, revealing a tanned shoulder. These flats, also from Mr P grabbed my eye. I love the mix of colours and the cute rope detail. My fave is the zip-up back which has a striking metallic gold finish. I’ve had my eye on these pink and orange skinny belts from Woolworths for a while now. I was so glad to see that they were’nt sold out, so I snapped them up straight away! Aren’t they funky? Trend Report: Dressing up Simple Summer Tops

Summer is finally here, time to bring on the staples; summer tees and cute vests. And thanks to a gorgeous selection of summer accessories, we can dress up simple tops with beautiful, dangling neck pieces, transforming day time outfits into stylish ensambles. Label Love – Raxevsky

Every year when a family member comes from Greece, I put in my request for my favourite fashion label, Raxevsky. I phone my mom up, send her a list of “please get these for me” and after much dreaming and drooling, I’ve got some nice new clothes to play with 🙂 Their summer 2011 collection is absolutely breathtaking! I can’t decide on one outfit, two or the whole collection. I want them all (damn you budget)!
