A Night Of Elegance Untamed

A Night Of Elegance Untamed

Last week, I attended the official launch party to celebrate the new look bottle for Wild Africa Cream. The party was held at the gorgeous Tintswalo Boutique Hotel in Waterfall Estate, and it was a night filled with glamour and Untamed Elegance! On the night, I wore a little more leopard than my usual touch of leopard, that I’ve been showcasing in my Elegance Untamed outfit posts recently. And, even though I’ve been wearing this black midi skirt to death, I love how a simple leopard top can change up the look and match the elegant look of the new Wild Africa Cream bottle. I took my sister in law, Louise along as my Plus1. Doesn’t she look gorge?! The Tintswalo Boutique Hotel created the perfect backdrop for an evening of Elegance Untamed. It’s got a grand, yet truly African feel that matched the new look Wild Africa Cream bottle. Sitting outside on the deck, we were treated to fierce music by a live DJ, whilst sipping on an award winning Liqueur. Wild Africa Cream won Double Gold at the recent 2014 Michaelangelo Wine & Spirit Awards and was named ‘Best Liqueur’ Trophy Winner. After nibbles and as much Wild Africa Cream as we could manage, we were treated to delicious strawberry cake that paired so well with Wild…

Elegance Untamed Braided Hair Look

Elegance Untamed Braided Hair Look

I’m so excited for the Wild Africa Cream launch party happening in Jozi this week. And, if you entered my giveaway, today I’ll announce who will be joining me with their BFF for an evening of Elegance Untamed! Read to the end of this post to see if it’s you! This week I wanted to play around with something different. I wanted to show you how to incorporate a touch of leopard into a chic evening look, by giving your hair a bit of a wild edge… Since I really suck at doing my own hair, I had the help of my talented hairdresser, Louise from Eclat Creatif (she’s amazing) whip up this edgy, boho braided creation with a touch of leopard print. We used my ClipinHair Extensions (read my review here) to add more fullness to my braid. Isn’t it beautiful?! I finished my look off with a simple LBD and my new Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses. They are so cute! They have an almost leopard print effect to them and inside, they have flash of fun with red and white polka dots. For my makeup, I used these beautiful goodies from Inglot. On my eyes, I used this palette that was specially created for Wild…

Crop Tops & Midi Skirts #EleganceUntamed Outfit Post

Crop Tops & Midi Skirts #EleganceUntamed Outfit Post

I’m really into my full midi skirt these days, so  when I was planning my first Elegance Untamed outfit post for Wild Africa Cream, I knew I wanted to start with this piece! Elegance Untamed is all about empowering your style and unleashing your inner wild child, but in a tasteful and classy way. Like adding a pop of leopard print to an all black outfit to break it up and a little. Although my outfit is all black, I wanted to keep my shoes neutral, since a nude shoe always looks better and I love how my Loubies compliment the colouring of the leopard print scarf. I also can’t believe that I’m actually wearing a crop top! That’s a skirt I thought I’d never wear and a top I thought I never wear! As much as I love this whole look, I must be honest, I never saw myself in it! So I definitely feel as though I’ve untamed my look and empowered myself to be more girly and glam.   Outfit details: Crop top and Full Midi Skirt Forever New Earrings, Bag, Bracelet and Scarf – Accessorize Heels – Christian Louboutin

Elegance Untamed

Elegance Untamed

I’m so excited to finally be able share these Behind the Scenes images and tell you more about an exciting project with Wild Africa Cream. Together with the beautiful Carlinn (Superficial GirlsG) and Thithi (TEETEEISWITHME), we were chosen as ambassadors to welcome the new look Wild Africa Cream in style… by adding elegance to every girl’s must have wardrobe item, the LBD, AKA Little Black Dress. Wild Africa Cream is a smooth and delicious cream liqueur, made in South Africa. You’ll probably remember it by the bold leopard “fur coat” packaging it used to have. Well, it now offers the same amazing taste, but this time around, it’s got a more elegant and refined new look. To celebrate the re-birth of their packaging, the three of us had a fun shoot for Marie Claire Magazine that you can see in the November 2014 issue, styling our favourite Little Black Dresses. Stick around as I’ll be sharing my #EleganceUntamed fashion and beauty posts throughout the month of November. In the meantime, here are some pics from the day… By the way, you guys can also enjoy a bit of #EleganceUntamed at the Wild Africa Cream Exclusive Launch Parties happening in Cape Town on 19th November 2014, or Jozi on the 4th December 2014. Make it a night out and bring your untamed elegance by wearing your favourite LBD with a touch…
