Win A Kerastase Elixir Ultime Gift worth R1680!

Kerastase Elixir Ultime is one of my favourite hair care ranges of all time. It smells amazing, its uber luxurious and is truly one of the gold standards in hair care!

It makes my hair feel silky soft, well cared for and looking beautiful! Plus I mean it looks just glorious in my shower!

When the Kerastase Elixir Ultime range launched in SA in July this year (read my review on it here), it came out with a shampoo, hair mask and a single leave in oil treatment.

Now the Kerastase Elixir Ultime familia has grown, with the addition of two new products to the range; a Conditioner and a second hair oil, specifically formulated for colour treated hair.

They’ve also upped the glam factor with gorgeous glass packaging for the hair oils – making it even more luxurious.

Since I’m all about sharing, today I’m sharing my good hair days with you, which means I’ve got one beautiful Kerastase Eixir Ultime gift to give away to one lucky StyleScoop reader, worth R1680!

But first, let’s take a quick look at the range and the new goodies… entry details at the end of this post.

The Bain Elixir Ultime Shampoo (R290) is a silicone and paraben free shampoo that gives you a nice purifying cleanse. It’s gentle on the hair without weighing it down and smells heavenly!

The new Fondant Beautifying Oil Conditioner (R330) is suitable for all hair types with a blend of corn germ, camellia, argan oils and amla extracts, that leave your hair silky to the touch, even before you comb it through.

My hair is fine, flat and lifeless, and often “rich and indulgent” shampoos and conditioners weigh it down, but I absolutely LOVE this range, because it feels indulgent, while still giving my hair a bit of oomph and gorgeous shine.

When it comes to hair oils, I’m a huge fan! But there are hair oils and there are hair oils!

There are only two hair oils that I like to use, one of them being Kerastase Elixir Ultime.

I was hooked on this oil after I tried the Original Elixir Ultime (R520) in July and their new baby, Elixir Ultime The Imperial for Coloured Hair (R520) is just what my hair has been lusting after since I went back to my ombre ways.

Both oils are non greasy and promise shine and strength with a beautiful softness. Packed with anti-oxidants to promote cellular renewal, they also help to restore the hair while keeping it protected from external nastiness.

The original oil contains a blend of four precious scented oils and is suitable for all hair types.

The new Elixir Ultime The Imperial offers the same antioxidant protection as the original. Formulated for colour treated hair, it also offers UV protection to enhance and protect your colour with a light, and perfect for summer floral scent.

Both oils offer a multitude of styling benefits including;

  • Pre-Cleanse:  Apply to brushed hair and rinse out before applying shampoo to remove impurities
  • Pre-Blow Dry:  Apply to towel-dried hair and blow dry as normal for additional protection
  • Finishing:  Work into the ends of the hair to control frizz, smooth and style
  • Touch-up:  Apply throughout the day to add a touch of shine as needed

Heading into Jozi summer with my coloured and bleached tresses, I simply love the fact that the Elixir Ultime The Imperial has UV protection! The Bain Elixir Ultime Shampoo being silicone and paraben free is a total winner with me! I want to limit the amount of chemicals and harsh ingredients I use on my hair but still give it the deep cleansing it needs, so this meets my needs perfectly. The Oil Conditioner sounds scrumptious with those delightful scented ingredients which I know will keep it soft and smooth. Looking after my hair is important and I get so carried away with my busy schedule that I don’t often take the time or get the right products to keep my healthy, lively and beautifully soft. Kerastase is one of my all time favourite hair products and I would love to try this range out and do it justice in the South African summer and beyond…. Thank you StyleScoop for an amazing competition xo
