Everyone talking about Britney’s’ comeback. Rumour had it that she had lost a whole whack of weight and was focusing more and more on her kids and her music career. All I can say is fi-na-lee! She is such a talented singer, and no matter how trashy she got, there is no denying a beautiful voice.
Brit opened up the 2008 Video Music Awards. She looked stunning in a silver Versace mini dress – very old-Britney indeed. But, furthermore she took home three “Moonmen” awards. Her big hit, was winning the video of the year, for her hit song “Piece of Me”.
According to People.com, Brit was looking a little nervous at first when she opened up the ceremony – Not surprising, considering her big flop at the 2006 VMA awards. Who can forget that boep, oops I mean bloop? Okay, that was a bit harsh – I honestly wouldnt call her fat then – she just looked fat in her choice of outfits and she didn’t dress for her figure. Only certain body’s can pull that one off and she was not one of them.
Anyways, that was then and this is now – and the old Britney we once loved (and hated because our guys always talked about her), seems to back on a winning streak. She opened up the awards saying “I’m here tonight to celebrate a very important birthday. “This is the 25th Video Music Awards – and it starts right now.” she announced.
Lets hope Brit can keep up her classier image.
