I recently received the inside scoop on Foschini’s upcomming winter 2009 range, and I couldn’t help to play virtual dress up with these designs. From leather, to black and white to tweed and satin, Winter 2009 looks like its going to sizzle.

Black and white
Black and white is making a comeback this season. And with so many chic and sexy basics, you can create a really gorgeous look – perfect for the office or a sophisticated night out.
This beautiful white frill shirt in satin looks amazing paired with a faux leather pencil skirt. Keep the Black and White theme going with a Zebra patterned fitted jacket and two tone shoes.
For a more stylish approach, that demands more attention, pair the same white shirt with a faux leather waistcoat and add a pair of shin high boots to the mix. Finish this look off with a gorgeous, chunky silver cuff with black stones.
In my opinion red will always be in style. Pair your faux leather skirt with this gorgeous red ruffle tee and embrace the trends with this trendy tartan sleeveless pullover. If you’ve got perfect pins (and I really mean perfect) try an ankle length boot or even opt for shoe boots (not quite a shoe, not quite a boot) which are very in style for this season.
