This month sees the launch of Stila’s new Magnificent Metals Eye Liner. It’s the blackest-black gel eyeliner, packed with Stila’s new cutting edge glistening glitter. The end result… multi dimensional colour that catches the light to make your eyes pop!
I got to play with one of four colours that will be launched namely, Metallic Black Gold, which I absolutely adore!
The texture of this gel liner is very soft, and reminds me a teensy bit of Chanel’s Illusion d’ombre eye shadow, but with a higher consistency of gel, so it’s quite bit thicker.
I’ve used this product as an eyeliner, to create softer defined “wings” with an element of sparkle, but it’s a wonderful product that can be used as an eyeshadow as well – and one that will stick to your lid, like a dream!
I do have oily lids, so I often have to pull a few tricks to make my eyeshadow last. When I used Stila Metallic Metals as an eyeshadow, it went on and stayed put without any effort! For that alone, I highly recommend this product!
Swatched, this colour looks amazing. The first application is to show you how it would look as an eye shadow, and the second, a thinner line for eyeliner.
Overall, I am very impressed with this product and super keen to try out the other colours too. Although, I do think that you can never go wrong with classic gold.
I love and can’t wait to replicate the look below, using Magnificent Metals.
The four colours available include: Metallic Black Gold, Metallic Black Tanzanite, Metallic Navy and Metallic Gunmetal.
