Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Premiere

Elizabeth Arden has just launched a new skincare collection called Ceramide Premiere. With it, an Intense Moisture and Renewal Activation Cream SPF 30 (a day cream), and an Intense Moisture and Renewal Overnight Regeneration Cream (night cream), both perfect hydrating moisturizers!

The texture of both is quite amazing, and unlike any other “moisturizing” cream I’ve used before. You know sometimes face creams have that watery, sloppy texture? Well not these two! Probably because they are made using Butyrospermum Parkii, which is essentialy Shea butter. Both the day and night creams are rich, but once you apply them onto your skin, they absorb almost immediately, so there is no greasy residue.

They are also loaded with other ingredients like calcium, magnesium and brown algae (sounds weird, smells amazing!), as well as high-powered Retinols that support natural cell turnover. The range is designed for mature skin, over 50’s, but I always say, prevention is better than cure when it comes to caring for your skin.

These pots also look pretty on your bathroom shelf, and you can easily identify which one is your day and which one is the night cream. The day cream has a golden lid, while the night cream has a pewter coloured lid.

Prices for these retail around R765 each, and that’s for 49 grams of product!
