We asked the new face of Pond’s Age Miracle range a few questions about her life, her beauty regime and how she keeps her skin healthy. How long have you been modelling? My love for modelling grew during my participation in the Miss South Pageant in 2004 What does it feel like to be associated with an iconic brand such as Ponds? This opportunity to work with Ponds has been a great honor. Its a classic brand that I have known for most of my life and now I get to represent it, to me that’s beyond exciting. This new range represents elegance, maturity and glamour these are some of the attributes that most women want. This is a timeless product and I am extremely grateful to be associated with Ponds. Pond’s has recently brought a new range of skin care, targeted specifically to young skin. Pond’s Flawless Rdiance is according to Ponds, their “best even-tone cream ever”. Well, we had to find out for ourselves, and so we sent off a few products to Louise, our StyleScoop guinea pig for the day, to try and test. Louise received four products including; Ponds Flawless Radiance Even Tone Facial Foam, Ponds Flawless Radiance Anti-Spot Intensive Even Tone Serum, Ponds Flawless Radiance Re-Brightening Night Cream and Ponds Flawless Radiance Visible Even Tone Day Cream. Eye creams – There are so many on the market right now. There are those that combat dark circles, and those that help to reduce puffiness. There are also ones that help reduce crows feet and wrinkles. After that, there are lotions, gels, creams and so, so many more, it would probably take me all day to list them. So, when it comes to choosing an eye cream, and more importantly how to put it on, things can get a little confusing. When I heard about this new eye cream from Pond’s, part of their Age Miracle range, I was quite impressed. It comes in a clever little jar like this one below, that’s split into a yin-yang design. The cream is split into two creams, a pink and white, each one with their own benefits. Need a boost? Use the intense Under Eye Brightening Cream (white) that helps to reduce the appearance of dark circles and puffiness. Need to a lift? I’m sure by now you’ve heard about the fabulous new skincare collection from Ponds called Age Miracle. I attended the launch of this product and it really went down well with the beauty bloggers. Last week Thursday I was flown to Cape Town’s One & Only Hotel to attend the launch of some new goodies from Pond’s – a skincare brand that has been around for what seems to be a million years. Sitting amongst a room full of beauty nerds A.K.A Bloggers, we were introduced to the brand by Pond’s Brand Manager Jill Mulligan .We learnt all about the brand, like for instance that it was established in 1846. And that it was first developed by a pharmacist who created a Cleansing Solution. In 1905 and the brand started to take a more serious look at beauty by pioneering it’s Cold Cream.
