I’m sure by now you’ve heard about the fabulous new skincare collection from Ponds called Age Miracle. I attended the launch of this product and it really went down well with the beauty bloggers.
It’s an impressive range that looks as good as it feels. Today, I wanted to tell you about the secret behind the Ponds Age Miracle range. Its targeted specifically for anti-aging, which means intensive research and funding were put behind the development of this range. Can you believe it took them almost nine years to develop? So you can rest assured that like all Ponds products, this one means what it says.

So what’s the miracle you may ask?
CLA, or as it’s also known by it’s full name, Conjugated Linoleic Acid is a fatty acid that occurs naturally and is found in animal protein such as red meat, milk, cheese and butter. It’s long being known to help with weight loss by improving your lean body mass and decreasing body fat.
In late 1996 when the POND’S INSTITUTE was studying skin ageing they stumbled upon CLA, and found that it could also help skin ageing repair.
How you may ask?
Think of CLA as a door to younger skin. The compound binds to receptors in skin cells and activates a number of processes in the skin leading to anti-ageing. In other words CLA is a key that opens the door to younger looking skin.
