With Christmas 2020 less than half a month away, if you need a little help in the gift giving department, today I’m here to present you with my top tips and gift giving inspo to make your life a little easier.
I can’t think of a single person who doesn’t love receiving gifts. But how many of us can truly say we are great gift givers? Do your gifts make your friends and family beam with enthusiasm, or do you notice them quietly cringing?View Post
Stocking stuffers can be so much fun and with all the festive markets happening right now, you could probably find really cute, unique things that will make great stocking stuffers. If not, hopefully my suggestions today will inspire some ideas, and best of all you can shop them online.
I like to find stocking stuffers that are fun and Christmassy, so think yummy treats, delicious smells and cuteseys that make it all the more festive.View Post
I am a wee bit obsessed with linen fabric at the moment. And guess what? I am not alone! It’s no wonder everyone loves linen, with it being such a hardy, beautiful and elegant fabric that actually looks better with age. It wears so well, it washes so well and best of all, it’s long lasting.
Giving the gift of linen this festive season is a perfect choice if you’re looking for a special gift, particularly for people who love quality, and who you may think have everything they need.
IMO, you can never have too much linen! And I don’t mean bed sheets (which half the time are anything but actual linen fabric, although those do exist, albeit at a price – but that’s another subject all together).View Post
In the last couple of years, plant parenting has become a major thing, and I for one am glad! I love, love, love plants! In fact, if I had my way, I’d turn my entire house into a full on jungle, but then I think, hello spiders and I’m like errrr, no thanks! So my gardening is reserved for outdoors, with some house plants to keep me happy.
As someone who enjoys digging my hands in the soil and watching mother nature bless me with her bounty, I’ve put together a little gift guide which I think fellow plant lovers (no matter their level of gardening enthusiasm) will love.View Post

When it comes to shopping for friends or family, it can often be difficult to not overload them with more useless knicknakcs that they don’t actually need. Sure, you don’t want to spend an arm and a leg on a gift (December/ Jan is already a tough time), but don’t waste your money just for the sake of buying a gift.
Ask yourself, do they really need more things that end up stashed in the cupboard, or worse yet, dumped in the landfill?
Thankfully, with more and more people wising up to eco living and sustainability, a whole world of gifting ideas and opportunities are available to us, so you can be the good friend who drives them towards a lifestyle of less waste and you will not go wrong with these great gifts…View Post
Can you believe Christmas is less than one month away? I’m still trying to wrap my head around how quickly 2020 has flown by and we’re already thinking about Christmas shopping – eek! For today’s festive gift guide, I wanted to focus on some of my favourite local lovely, South African brands who have awesome gifts your friends, family (even yourself) would love.
This is an all budget gift guide, so whether you want to spend R100 or R1000, you’ve come to the right place.View Post

With 27 days left until Christmas (WHOA!), if you haven’t wrapped up your festive shopping then you’re probably in a mad panic about what to buy. Well, hopefully I can assist today with my Gift Guide featuring Christmas Gifts for HER under R500.
Be sure to also check out my gift guides for her this festive season, with great ideas for gifts under R200 and under R350.View Post
Welcome to back to another instalment of my Festive Gift Guides for Christmas 2018. Today, I’ve got a couple of fab gift ideas that come in under the R350 mark. Most of them are actually under R300, but since one was just R20 over, I had to be fair with my title.
Like my Gifts Under R200 post that I shared last week, I wanted to find gift options that are useful and above all, good quality!
This list is also not exclusive to the ladies. I mean, StyleScoop is a blog for the fabulous females out there, but you might even like some of the ideas for guys too!
Are you ready?View Post
Okay, so I know it seems like R200 doesn’t go very far these days – but if you really look around, you can still find fab gifts under R200. Gifts that aren’t going to break the bank. And gifts that your friends and family will love!
People often say I’m difficult to buy for, and that’s just because I don’t like junk. I spent my life collecting junk, getting rid of it and now I hate accumulating things I don’t need.
As cute as a glittery pencil bag is, or another makeup bag to add to my collection, to me they just = unnecessary hoarding.
So, when I’m looking at gifting for friends and family, I really try to think of the person I’m buying for so that I can get them something that fits into their lifestyle.View Post
Buying gifts for guys that they will love doesn’t have to be tough. In fact, more and more these days, buying gifts for guys has become easier, because the males are just as spoilt for choice when it comes to all the great things out there. For this gift guide, I had my hubby help me out a bit, because he’s one of those guy’s that’s really (and I do mean really) difficult to buy for. He’s the type, who when he wants something, before I even get a chance to consider it as a good gift option, he’s already bought it for himself. So what do you get him that he wants and needs, but possibly doesn’t have – or doesn’t think he wants? Well that’s what I’m about to share with you…View Post
