Berry Beautiful

Berry Beautiful

A little while ago, I met up with Charli from INGLOT, so that he could tell me about all the amazing new (makeup) things coming our way, from one of my favourite makeup brands. He gave me a few samples from the latest INGLOT Berry Collection to try them out. The nail colours, come in six fabulous shades and are all O2M Breathable Nail Enamels. Which is Inglot’s signature line that allows moisture and oxygen to pass through the nail colour, keeping your nails in tip top condition. I got to sample two colours. Shade 689 is a pretty gorgeous deep burgundy red, which I didn’t love at first. But once I put it on my nails, I was sold. I’m actually still wearing it on my toes, and it’s a really lovely plum red colour. The second shade, 691 is a royal purple that looks very much like black, but with rich purple tones. It’s a great colour for dark moods, and if you want to wear black, but not black if you know what I mean! Both of these are really nice, rich colours that will keep your nails happy for the last few weeks of winter! They lasted on my nails for three days without chipping, and my nails still looked healthy after…

Inglot Coffee Collection

Inglot Coffee Collection

INGLOT have just launched their exciting Coffee Collection. Inspired by the decadence of coffee, this collection is purrrrfect for winter! Here’s the selection I got to play with.. Freedom Eye Shadow in shade 155 is a gorgeous, creamy golden colour that adds amazing depth to your lids. AMC Eyeliner Gel in 93 which has a rich, metallic effect. Looks great as an eye liner on plain lids or layered over the golden eyeshadow. You can also use this gel liner as an intense, metallic eyeshadow – perfect for a night out. Totally yummy, Inglot Nail Enamel in 365. This is a gorgeous beige that looks like latte! Love it, so Beckham indeed! What do you think of this collection? Yummy right?

Nail Polish That Breathes

Nail Polish That Breathes

Loving these gorg new nail colours from Inglot! Never mind the pretty colours, these “breathable nail polishes” are the absolute bomb! Inglot’s Breathable Nail polish range is called O2M and while it coats your nails in a beautiful, solid colour, it simultaneously allows them to breathe, by allowing oxygen to pass through the polish and into the nail. The result, healthy nails that still look as fun and colourful as you want them to. So, if you’re obsessed with painting your nails in different colours every day, then you should definitely try out this range. The colours in the pic above (from left): 667, 659, 665 and 672.  Here, I am wearing Inglot O2M in colour 659. It’s a beautiful coral that goes on nice and solid with just one coat and it lasts! I snapped this pic after wearing this colour for 4 days! Very Impressive, considering how hard I am on my nails.

Play with Coloured Lashes with these new Mascaras

Play with Coloured Lashes with these new Mascaras

Inglot have just launched five of the most amaze(eye)balls super pigmented, coloured mascaras… Electric Blue, Emerald Green, Purple, Navy Blue and Brown! Yum! Inglot Colour Play Mascara goes on beautifully and coats each lash with rich, vibrant colour. Today Im wearing the blue, but the green is my favourite!  The formula of this mascara lasts all day long, doesn’t smudge or clump and it’s water resistant! I used the mascara over my normal lashes and the colour came out nice and bright! However, for an even more eye-popping effect, Inglot suggests using a white eyelash primer before applying your Colour Play Mascara! I’m going to try that next! PS! If you’ve got sensative eyes, Inlgot Colour Play mascara should be safe for you to use. It’s dermatologically tested and safe for contact lenses. Get them! Inglot Colour Play Mascara’s retail at R149 each and they have a special offer running at the moment, where you can buy two for R250!

The StyleScoop PURE Palette by INGLOT

The StyleScoop PURE Palette by INGLOT

I have some very exciting news to share with you guys today… As you know INGLOT is one of my personal favourite makeup brands for eye shadows! Not only do they have a gazillion colours to choose from in their freedom system, but they are super pigmented and long lasting. Better yet, they are affordable at only R79 for over 2 grams of shadow! The only problem with INGLOT (if you want to call it that) and I’m sure many of you will agree, is that there are so many colours, it’s often difficult to choose a single shade. I’ve often found myself going in there to buy a brown and been so overwhelmed by the different brown choices, that I end up not buying anything! So, I thought I’d make it easier for you guys. I’ve put together a palette of colours that I think will work on just about anyone, and named it the STYLESCOOP PURE PALETTE by INGLOT! If you like this colour palette you can go into any INGLOT standalone store and ask for it by name, so there is no need to write down the different codes for each colour. This gorgeous 5-pan palette is my absolute fave at the moment and…

Inglot Nail Art, I heart!

Inglot Nail Art, I heart!

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m loving nail art for summer. Not so much the crazy stickers like Katy Perry’s Smurf nails, but you know, designs you create on nails using nail polish. It’s fun and flirty. Inglot have a GORGEOUS range. I had been looking for these nail art pens all over for ever, and could never find. Yesterday I spotted them at Inglot and they have a full selection of fabulous colours! I do love the neon green (30) and yellow (31), and of course the pink (34), but one absolute must have is the white (29). Besides the fact that they are totally fun, they really have thought of everything when it comes to being a user friendly product. Firstly, the bottle design makes it easy to hold the product when creating your designs. They also have two applicator selections; one is a super thin nail brush and the second a shake-and-squeeze tip. Take a look… As if that is not enough genius for you, each bottle has it’s own little pin cleverly attached under the label at the bottom, so now when your pen tip gets cloggy or dries up you can easily fix it without ruining…
