Get your fashion fix on your iPad with these apps

Get your fashion fix on your iPad with these apps

Man, oh man I love my iPad! I have no idea how I went through life without it. When I first got mine I downloaded every app under the apple sun! Lately I’ve started deleting a lot of them and kept only my faves. Every time a friend buys an iPad, they always ask “what apps are cool”, so today I thought I’d share some of my fave fashion fab apps. Enjoy… The Cut Totalz, 100% free, The Cut app is your ticket to front row at fashion week! The app lets you browse all the shows, all the news and all the looks from anywhere in the world! Better yet, the pics and videos are such high quality you will literally feel like you’re sitting right in the front row, sandwiched between Anna Wintour and Victoria Beckham! Style.Com Similar to The Cut, Style.com allows you to view the latest runway shows and videos, but it also has a nice “Parties” tab where you can get your celeb fashion fix and see who wore what on the red carpet. It’s also a free app to download and very addictive. What I Wore If you’re into taking outfit pics to help…

Pose – Like Instagram for Fashion!

Pose – Like Instagram for Fashion!

I love Instagram, I could spend hours on it. I recently discovered something even better though called Pose. It’s an application for your iPad, iPad2, iPhone,  iPod Touch or Android phone. If you’re familiar with the Instagram app, Pose works pretty much the same. The only difference is that it’s geared towards fashion blogging. So instead of following friends and cool peeps like you do on Instagram, you follow other fashion and beauty obsessed trend setters and enthusiasts who share their fashion finds in real-time. The great thing about Pose is, like Instagram, anyone can become “Posers” and post pictures in your favourite outfit, when you spot that fabulous pair of shoes or your beauty obsessions. What’s even better than Instagram, is you can load “collection photos” on Pose. So lets say you took pics of your outfit and all the details, you can load them all into one Pose and users will be able to scroll through them. Neat hey! Just go to the Apple iTunes store and download it for free! Then set up your profile and start Posing. Be sure to follow stylescoop while you’re there and let us know if you’re already (or when you sign…

Create mood boards with Moodboard Pro for iPad

Create mood boards with Moodboard Pro for iPad

I’m having so much fun on my iPad, it really is the most awesome thing ever! One of the apps I recently bought was the MoodBoard Pro app. I had the lite (in other words, free) version for a while and found it to be a little boring as you could only do one mood board at a time, and the number of images you could place was limited. The pro version however, is awesome! Awesomeness for under $10 and under R100! It’s prefect for organizing and saving all your favourite things and finding inspiration. You could use it for fashion mood boards (or how I have below), to create mood boards of home decor ideas. Heck, you could use it for anything! The best thing about it besides beeing fun to use, with little drawing pins and tape effects, but I love how you can clip images off websites and it saves the link within the image, so that you can refer to it later. You can create colour pallets by importing images from the web or your iPad photogallery and you can share your board with friends on email, Facebook or Twitter – how cool. Check out my…
