Black & White Floral Skirt – It’s Banana!

I’m excited to be bringing you my second look with Stuttafords today, and it’s a look that has me going Bananas! Lately, I’m all about skirts and Banana Republic has such amazing ones in beautiful black and white! It doesn’t get better than this! To be honest, I’ve never found high-low skirts to be very appealing. They are always too short in front and too long or again too short at the back and just look weird. But then, along came this Banana Republic skirt and I’m totally obsessed with it! It fits so beautifully and the cut is universally flattering. Plus it also has pockets – perfect for that street style look, and it can be worn in so many ways! I decided to stick with black and white for this lookbook, but this skirt would also look amaze with a pair of cute sandals and a crop top, or a pair of lace up boots (yes, you heard me) and a denim shirt tucked in for a bit of an edgier look that’s still fun and feminine. Summer’s Hottest Nude Strappy Sandals

Ti’s the season to get excited about sandals… Are you excited? I’ve always been a huge fan of nude sandals. They just look so amazing with everything, and really elongate your legs. I mean who could say no to that? This season’s most coveted sandal is the gladiator. Ladies, if you’re looking for a great pair, don’t worry, I’ve found it, plus some other strappy sandals to get you excited… When it comes to sandals, I particularly like to find leather options. For starters, they are so much kinder on your feet especially in the heat, and they wear so much better than synthetic shoes. And don’t think becuase it’s leather it’s automatically expensive. Moschino Cheap And Chic STARS

Happy Fragrance Friday everyone! Today, I’m coming to you with another exciting fragrance launch and a bottle so “out there”, it deserves it’s own page here on StyleScoop. Say hello to MOSCHINO STARS, a new to South Africa (it launched in the last week of August) Eau Da Parfum by MOSCHINO CHEAP AND CHIC. An unusual name for a fragrance, but you know MOSCHINO, always pushing the boundaries and going totally over the top! Just look at the bottle design! I mean, who but MOSCHINO would create a fragrance that’s lid features a cluster of shooting stars (or as they call it “a bouquet of stars, like the constellation Cassiopeia” ) and still make it look chic? And it smells pretty good too! Moschino Cheap and Chic STARS is a white floral scent that opens with top notes of citron granita, may rose and peony. At the heart lies lily of the valley, orange blossom and jasmine, before developing into a base of driftwood, vetiver, ambroxan and amber. Let’s Shop Summer at Old Khaki

I love collab-ing with Old Khaki to bring you gals my favourite in-store picks every month. With summer on the way, I’m done winter shopping and so excited with the summer selection on offer this month. I’m in love with everything I bought, and although it may not “go together” as one outfit, I know that these pieces will get a lot of wear this summer. So what did I buy? First up, these beautiful espadrilles I mentioned in yesterday’s post. I friggin love them! I don’t own a pair of espadrilles (until now) and seriously, I don’t know where they have been all my life. They are T-H-E comfiest shoes ever, and I love the faded blue and white stripe on the Rare Earth Bailey Espadrilles. Definitely a summer essential! These will be great for casual weekend wear, road trips and travel. Next up, a bright, fun cami for summer… You gals know I’m all boho-friggin-crazy, so there was no way I could resist this bright, beautiful and certainly eye catching cami.
