On Tuesday night I was up in Jo’burg to celebrate British Airways‘ Anniversary, at a swanky event held at the magnificent Saxon Hotel.
Local and international celebs, together with BA guests gathered to celebrate British Airway’s 80-year heritage in South Africa. Drinks flowing and canapes circling, we gathered to learn about the brand and enjoy a fashion show that took us though some of the most historic uniforms of pilots and air hostess through the years.
Many of the garments were modeled by current BA staff, with the exception of International Model, famous for her gorgeous pout, rockstar dad and model mom, Georgia May Jagger, who ended off the show in a pretty and sparkling Alice Temperley dress.

Spotted at the event, some famous faces including Danny K and his new wifey, Jen Su, Emmanuel Castis, rugby star Schalk Burger, former Springboks; Gcobani Bobo and Joel Stransky, as well as Captain of the London Wasps, Marco Wentzel.
After the show we were treated to “High Tea” which consisted of a decadent display of amazing and mouth watering treats and a performance by local Electrical String Quartet, The Muses.
