Beauty Scoop – Quick fix skin treats

Everyone wants to look well rested, fresh and “youthful” and now you can, without lifting a finger. Check out these gorgeous products I recently tried, tested and absolutely love! They will keep your skin looking fabulously youthful, and all you have to do to get them to work is sit back and relax. Talk about the ultimate pick me up experience!

ModelCo Face Lift

I reviewed ModelCo’s gorgeous Hydrating Face & Neck Mask for the current (Autumn 2010) issue of our GLOSSY digital magazine. It was the first mask of this kind that I tried and was really impressed with the results. It was also my first touch of ModelCo skincare, which by the way is really amazing too. Face Lift is designed to cover your whole face and neck and has cut out areas for your eyes, nose and mouth, so it sits really comfortably on your face. You apply it over cleansed skin (a good idea to use ModelCo Face Off gentle exfoliator), lie back and relax, while it brings back youth! Leaving the skin calm and not at all irritated, this mask drenches your face with moisture, plus it has Co-enzyme Q10 which is packed with antioxidants and prevents future collagen damage.

Suggested retail price – R350 (for 4 individually packaged sachets)

The La Mer Hydrating Facial Mask

Another peel-on-mask I got to try is this super luxurious one from La Mer. Drenched in moisture richness, this “two zone” mask will have your skin feeling like a million bucks in under 10 minutes. You literally put it on your face, sit back, relax and in 8 minutes you have refreshed, renewed and re-vitalized skin that’s instantly plumped up and hydrated. The mask comes in two parts (upper zone and lower zone) and each treatment comes individually packed. It’s easy to use and feels just like a spa treatment.

Suggested retail price R2400 (for a pack of six individual applications)

Estee Lauder Sress Relief Eye Mask

Tired eyes are so not fabulous, but I have a secret weapon to hide my midnight blogging session’s. Estee Lauder Stress Relief Eye Masks are individually packed eye masks that instantly plump up tired eyes. Like the peel-on-facial masks featured above, these are applied directly (under the eye) and all you have to do is enjoy 10 minutes of quite time. Peel them off, pat the remaining liquid into your eyes and viola – who’s that gorgeous, well rested girl looking back?

Suggested retail price – R355 (for a pack of 10 sachets)

LA MER R2400 for 6 application. Is this possible. I prever good quality products like Clarins, for that price it should remove wrinkles permanently.

Lol, La Mer is the probably the best quality product you can get. From what I’ve heard, it is worth the price.

There are many great products out there but La Mer is the Crème de la crème! I’ve been lucky enough to have tried the La Mer Gel moisturizer and these gorgeous masks and your skin feels like a million bucks!
