Imagine you could sit down with Uncle Karl – AKA Karl Lagerfeld and enjoy a nice cup-a tea? What would you discuss with him? What about a fashionable tea party with the whole gang – Donatella Versace, Jean Paul Gaultier or the supermodels, Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell?
Only in my dreams. But, German company, Donkey, have come up with another way to enjoy high tea (with names many can’t even pronounce) just about anywhere. They have produced a super cute range of tea bags, that have cut outs of various characters. You just dunk them into your teacup and they hang out like they’re chilling in a jacuzzi.
The single tea bag ‘Prêt-à-porTea’ range featured some of the fashionable designers and models, and they now have Karl Lagerfeld as part of their “High Society” range. This is a bigger tea bag that fits into a teapot and makes up to 8 cups of tea.
A €4.95 (about R48.22) its probably the cheapest way to have a tea party with one of the most influential designers of the 20th century.
