Insta-Scoop! Skincare, Favourite Foundations, South African Style and more… My Week in Instagrams

I caught a glimpse of this beautiful beaded tree by the Hillcrest Aids Centre Trust! Such a great project to raise awareness for HIV and Aids, and it adds a bit of prettiness to the pavement.

I love graphic tee’s and Mr Price has some amazing ones on offer right now, in collaboration with Henry Holland. Love the typo on this one “No one’s gonna get hurt, it’s only a t-shirt!” Find out more about the Mr Price Henry Holland collection and see more tee’s on this post.

Love this coffee table book by South African Photographer, Ed Suter! Spotted at Mr Price Home, SHARP SHARP South Africa Street Style is a gorgeous illustrated collection of what makes South African Street Style unique and distinctive. A great coffee table must have!

SUMMERTIME! Beautiful summer time treat box from Woolworths, filled with loads of fun, trendy items for summer! Read about what I got inside the box in today’s scoop!

Summer brings with it some gorgeous blooms. My Bougainvilleas look absolutely amazing at the moment! I picked some yesterday and put them in a pretty tea pot to bring some colour into my home. Love, love, love!

I love going to Fat Tuesday‘s little gallery shop in Kloof. I could spend all day in this place just admiring the pretty and unusual pieces, like this gorgeous vase. Isn’t it a beaut?

My three favourite foundations at the moment! Stila Stay all Day Foundation and Concealer, Makeup For Ever HD Foundation and MAC Studio Fix Fluid.

I’ve also got my eye on these beautiful, made in South Africa chopping boards by Woodnewz! They smell amazing (I love the smell of natural wood) and they have a lovely mixed wood design. They come in different sizes and are really, by far, the best wooden chopping boards I’ve seen. I’d like to get a whole stack of them, because even when they are “just sitting there” in their wooden crate for display they look so good!

If you haven’t had a taste of Wakaberry just yet, you’re really missing out! It’s different flavoured yoghurt with about a zillion toppings to choose from!

The first time I tried Wakaberry I went OTT with the toppings, and put a bit of everything into my cup, which sadly didn’t taste so great. I have since discovered that Wakaberry is like most things in life, where less is definitely more!

What’s your skincare routine at the moment? I am currently hooked on Filorga skincare products and have started using mostly their products on my skin. Here’s just a snap of what I’m using right now. Lancome makeup remover, Lancome Cleanser, Filorga Time Filler, Filorga Hydra Filler, Filorga Night Cream, Filorga Pigmentation Cream, Filorga Derma C, REN Photoactive Sunveil and La Mer Concentrate.

It’s quite a lot (as you can see), but I split these up into day and night (of course). I think I’ll do a post soon on my skincare routine 🙂

This cute Lindt Santa and his golden reindeers was a lovely gift from the pretty ladies at Freebees PR. So yummy!

So that’s just some of the things that caught my i(Phone) this past week. If you’re on Instagram, check out my profile and follow me under  stylescoopdotcoza
