Fragrances That Man, Dad, Is Going To Love

With Father’s Day around the corner, and some sexy new scents for the guys, I thought today would be a perfect time to show you gals my fave three fragrances that your number one man is going to love!

Yves Saint Laurent KOUROS SILVER

Oh-My-GAWD! This fragrance…! It’s one of those follow me around scents that literally sweeps you off your feet!

KOUROS – the original (in the white bottle) that was launched in 1981 (my birth year by the way) has always been one of my fave scents for guys! I love, love, love it!

So, before I sniffed the new KOUROS SILVER, I was half expecting not to fall in love – but one whiff, and I got all weak in the knees!

KOUROS SILVER is a celebration of the contemporary image of the male body, uniting power, style and masculinity. Its the embodiment of strength and the archetype of glory — like ‘Heracles’, towering between triumph and sexiness.

KOUROS SILVER is fresh and intense. The fragrance explodes with an aromatic blend of green apple, combined with woody ambers and crisp sage!

Besides the fragrance being totally irresistible and kinda stalkarish, the KOUROS SILVER campaign is also fronted by South African hottie, model Mias Van Der Westhuyzen.

Giorgio Armani ACQUA DI GIO PROFUMO

From sexy and sultry Kouros Silver to the profoundly sensual ACQUA DI GIO PROFUMO, born from volcanic rock and deep ocean waters.

This woody, aromatic scent is classic and masculine for a man who likes to awaken the senses.

Housed in a gorgeous, simple and minimalist chic black bottle (so very Armani), the juice opens with a combination of spicy, citrus notes of Elemi and Bergamot.

Rosemary, Sage and Geranium give this fragrance its heart, before it develops fully with base notes of Patchouli and Incense.

It’s a reflection of raw nature.

BENTLEY FOR MEN – Original

Imagine giving your dad a Bentley for Father’s Day! Could you imagine the reaction? You’d be the best daughter in the world.

While I’d love to give my dad a Bentley as a gift, I’ve got to face reality, that as a blogger – that would probably never happen! Sorry Dad!

Although it might just! Well, a BENTLEY fragrance rather than the actual car!

The bottle is class all the way. It’s heavy and feels like a million bucks. Thick glass, a solid cap and beautiful Bently logo engraved into the bottle.

The scent was completely unique to me! My first spray and I got the distinct smell of whiskey? Like an expensive bottle of Jack Daniels.

Whilst this threw me a bit, and considering the opening notes are Black Pepper, Bay Leaves and Bergamot, as the scent developed it became more sensual with Rum, Cinnamon, Clary Sage and Leather notes developing.

Once fully developed the mix of Cedar wood, Patchouli, Musk and Benzoin Siam base notes made it super luxurious, intense yet classic, while still super expensive and iconic.
