It’s not often that I post a whole lot of guy grooming content here on StyleScoop, but every now and then I like to showcase some of the new fragrances out there, that your man will love. After all, you need to justify all your fragrance and makeup spoils by treating your man to something new every now and then, right? For the guys’ Fragrance Friday, today I wanted to share a gorgeous, manly scent for ya! The new NUIT by Issey Miyake that went on sale nationwide last month. I love the ISSEY MIYAKE men’s fragrance selection, probably even more than the ladies. They just have a very unmistakable sharp and crispness that’s both alluring and mysterious. I love a manly fragrance! I mean, the fruity, sporty ones are nice, but you know the real old-school smelling fragrances on a man? Yeah those are always my best! Since I featured the new YSL Black Opium for the ladies today, I wanted to share with you another YSL olfactory gem, this time for the guys! YSL L’HOMME It’s not a new launch (and there’s even an Intense version out already), but I still think it’s a scent worth checking out! Especially when making those Christmas lists for the men in your lives this holiday season. Although this fragrance is not totally unique, it’s very masculine and elegant with all the right notes to make it a completely luxurious fragrance. I particularly like the heart. Some exciting new fragrance launches for the guys… Two years after the launch of Ferrari’s Red Power fragrance, comes the new Ferrari Red Power Intense! This one is said to be more flamboyant and speaks to the daring man. With top notes of Nutmeg, Blazing Red Pepper Berries and Violet Leaves, heart notes of Lavender, Daring Orris and Patchouli and base notes of Intense Incense, Warm Amber and Agarwood. It’s a fragrance driven by passion and if your man (or you, if you’re a guy reading this) is a Ferrari fan, then he’ll probably love this scent! We love the men in our life, so we’ve got another Fragrance Friday for the boys today… Don’t worry girls, I’ve got one for you too, coming up a little later today, so stay tuned I wanted to introduce you to a great range of really inexpensive fragrances for men by Jacques Bogart. Three super-size scents that would make a great addition to your fragrance collection (men need fragrance collections too), whether you’re into woody, ambery or oriental notes. To tell you a bit about the brand, Parfums Jacques Bogart was founded in 1975. Fascinated by the films noirs of the 1940’s, Jacques Bogart lives by the slogan “I only create for man”. This is rather nice, since the guys have very little “exclusive” brands that cater just for them. With Father’s two sleeps away, if you still haven’t managed to find THAT perfect gift, then this new, 2014 Montblanc Legend Special Edition is just the thing! Created by perfumer Olivier Pescheux, Legend Special Edition 2014 is a new take on the original. I haven’t smelt the original. In fact, this is the first time that I’ve ever smelt a fragrance by Montblanc, and although I don’t have anything to go on, I really like this scent. It’s classic, it’s manly and it’s a fragrance with status. For the man that has it all, dad would definitely appreciate a touch of class!
