Hey Kiehl’s lovers, listen up! The brand has recently launched two amazing new skincare products that I know you will love! I tried, tested and love them both…
First up, let’s talk about the amazing, the incredible, the skin loving new Kiehl’s Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream.
With 99.6% of it’s content derived from natural ingredients, this Manuka Honey rich formula not only smells bee-utiful and feels indulgent on the skin, but my results in seven days were pure vitality! I am now hooked!
I had been having a moment with my skin feeling very lifeless. It was just looking dull and tired, so I decided to switch out my day and night time creams with Kiehl’s Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream and see how it went.
After about the third day I noticed that my skin was already starting to look more alive. It’s almost like that grey dullness had disappeared and my skin was feeling more supple, definitely more hydrated and more perky and awake.

It’s such a great product, so I have decided to keep it part of my daily routine. I must admit, I’ve always been a bit on the fence with “natural skincare” because, if there are hardcore chemicals that have been designed to do great things – why bother with the natural route? Now that I’ve seen such amaze results with this, 99.6% natural product, I’m ready to totally re-think the importance of chemical-free skincare.
A little of this product goes a really long way. The texture is more like a primer than a moisturizer, with a gel type texture that melts beautifully into the skin. I usually let it settle in for about 10 minutes or so before applying makeup.

Now, if you only ever one product from Kiehl’s, make sure it’s their Midnight Recovery Oil. It is one gem that I can’t live without, and is so amazing, it’s earned it’s icon status around the globe.
Following the success of Midnight Recovery, Kiehl’s has brought out the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil which cleanses the skin, removing all traces of makeup, yet respects and maintains the skin’s barrier.
I’m a huge fan of cleansing oils to start with, so of course I’m in love with this one. But, what I really love is how herby/ aromatic/ medicinal it smells. Plus, it’s got all the goodness of the Midnight Recovery blend, so I feel like I’m really caring for my skin while cleansing it too!
- Contains the “Midnight Recovery” blend of ingredients including Squalane, Evening Primrose Oil, and Lavender Essential Oil which soothe the skin while providing a true, sensorial experience.
- The Formula contains 0% soap, 0% sulfate and 0% mineral oil.
The texture is lightweight and removes makeup like a dream. After I rinse it off and gently pat dry my face, my skin already feels supple and hydrated before I apply any of my creams, lotions and potions.
I use it at night since in the morning my “cleansing” routine comprises of only Micellar water to remove product buildup from the night before. It’s best used on dry skin, but you can use dry or wet hands to massage into the skin to emulsify the oil.
Such a great product and definitely in the top 3 of my favourite cleansing oils – the other two being the Filorga Skin Perfusion Cleansing Oil and Dermalogica Pre-Cleanse.
