My Fragrance Five

One of my favourite things is fragrance! Actually, I think fragrance is my favourite thing! A lovely scent can change your mood in an instant, and there is nothing like wearing a fragrance that makes you feel exquisite.

I like to keep my options open, and as much as I like the idea of a signature scent, honestly life is too short not to indulge in as many pleasures as possible! Why not explore them all? So at the moment, I’ve been rotating amongst these five fragrance faves..

My Five Fragrance Loves…

GUCCI Bloom…

Because it’s absolutely sensational! I love the intense jasmine notes in this scent and I’m obsessed with the packaging. Not that the bottle should be a reason to go out and buy a fragrance, but if you love how it smells – and you love the bottle, I’d say it’s a winner!

I started using it when it launched in August and have kept it on my dresser ever since.

DKNY Nectar Love…

Is a new addition to my collection and one that I’m very excited about. One of my favourite scents from my “young adult” life was DKNY Be Delicious. I loved the apple and sparkling bite, and although I find this one completely different (here nectar takes centre stage) I could definitely smell that DKNY Be Delicious sparkle signature.

The bottle is super cute; shaped like a pot of honey with the cutest little bee embellishments in the lid and engraving in the glass.

Is not a new scent (it launched in August of 16‘) and I kind of re-discovered and fell-back-in-love with it, after last Christmas’ CHANEL Holiday Collection – which featured the beautiful Twist and Spray No5 L’EAU Purse Spray. I found myself using the purse spray so much that I decided to dig into my fragrance draw and bring out my bottle of L’EAU No5.

This is such a minimalist scent – very unlike the original No5, but such a magnificent, classy and fresh scent with a zesty combination in the top notes that make it modern while keeping it very CHANEL chic.

Is my favourite Armani fragrance franchise. I’ve pretty much loved all the variants of Si along the way, but I think Armani Si Le Parfum is my true match made in heaven.  It’s richer and more captivating than the other Si Fragrances, and since I’m a lover of intense scents, this baby is it!

GIORGIO ARMANI Si Huile De Parfum is another Si favourite, and one that I like to layer under my Si Le Parfum fragrance. It adds more dimension to the fragrance, making it richer and longer lasting. Plus I like that you can wear it alone -as a perfume oil, or layer it with your favourite variant of Armani Si fragrances.

Which fragrances are you into at the moment? Do you rotate your scents or stick to a signature scent?

I love fragrances myself and I agree that it’s fun to rotate the scent according to my mood and time of day. They are so amazing that it’s hard to choose !
