10 Red Hot Nail Colours to Rock This Valentines Day

10 Red Hot Nail Colours to Rock This Valentines Day

February is the month of love, red hot love, and what better way to fire up our first Trend Report of the month than with red hot nails? We picked our top five red hot nail colours to rock out this valentines day… Here’s our first five… Feautured from left: Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour in 475 Dragon is an intense red that coats your nails with a bright, red colour in just one application. NuBar Nail Lacquer in NV5 Barbera has a slightly pinkish tone in comparison to the others and offers a great variation if you don’t like siren red. Estee Lauder Nail Lacquer in 07 Red Tango also offers a true red tone and matches up identical to the Chanel shade. Revlon Nail Enamel in 680 Revlon Red offers a true red that’s just a little brighter than the Chanel and Estee Lauder variations. Tip Top Nail Chic in 932 Traffic Lights has a slight metallic sheen over its traffic stopping colour. More scarlet than red, but still red hot! Here’s a visual of the colours, how they look on my nails. Index Finger – Nu Bar Barbera Middle Finger – Tip Top Nail Chic Traffic Lights…

Chanel Nail Personality: Party Girl

Chanel Nail Personality: Party Girl

Like most girls, I’m obsessed with nail polish. A quick mani or pedi with a fresh new colour on your fingers or toes can really transform your mood. If you don’t have a lot of money, or time to buy a new dress or pair of shoes, then painting your nails is the next best thing. Actually, I think it might be better in some instances – like for example, when you get to paint them with a luxurious, gorgeous coat of Chanel nail polish. For the next few days, I’ll be channeling a new personality by painting my nails in different colours from the lust worthy and totally yummy Chanel Le Vernis collection! Before I begin, I need to mention that I’m a Chanel virgin – or at least I was a few weeks ago. Now, I’m a fond follower and a believer (can you also hear the Shrek song in your head?). What makes Chanel nail polish so special, besides it being Chanel (hello!) is that the colour is, in one word, magnificent! A lot of nail polishes need two to three (sometimes even more) coats to make the colour as intense as the bottle. Well, not Chanel.…

Star Beauty – Party Picks: Part 1

Star Beauty – Party Picks: Part 1

I just love the festive season.  It’s a time of giving, and of receiving… especially in my case.  This month I have been overloaded with fabulous beauty products coming from all directions.  Everyday I get spoilt with a new little indulgence, and each week during December you’ll get to indulge your sweet-tooth for makeup with me, as I have a whole series of beauty features planned. After a week of playing with all the makeup (tell me I don’t have the best job in the world 🙂 ) , I’ve put together a little Party Pick collection for all the seasons’ must have shades and products.   I’ve also got the heads up on some upcoming goodies that will be available soon.  So, if you’re looking for bold and daring shades or prefer the simple and sexy look, you’ve come to the right place. Want something more daring? Check out Part 2 Pink will always be pretty, from luscious, pink lips to rosy cheeks.  There are so many fab lip colours on the market, and you will see most of these earned my “Lust Have” seal of desire, simply because I couldn’t narrow it down, I love them all! 1)…
