Rain Africa – Handmade Bath & Body Products from SA!

rain-africa

I am hooked on Rain Africa products! They recently opened up a store at Gateway Shopping Centre, and every time I go there, I find myself spending hours ogling and indulging.

Besides offering a unique and irresistible selection of bath, body, skin, hair and fragrance goodies, all Rain products are hand made right here in South Africa, using natural ingredients that have been sourced in Africa!

Their products are available online (the perfect gift for the holidays!?), but if you get a chance to pop into one of their branded local stores or international stores, you absolutely have to allow yourself and your senses, the pleasure of experiencing this amazing brand first hand.

While the online store is a great place to stock up on your faves, a visit to Rain Africa will allow you to experience the range like no other!

  • Pour –  Bring in your own containers and fill them up from the large tubes of liquid soap or foam bath
  • Mix – Customize your own body scrub by choosing from various bases, oils, actives and scents
  • Slice – Cut a slice of your own soap from the large loaves on display
  • Scoop – Scoop out your own bath salt, soak, fizz balls, steam balls, eartheggs, and hospitality soaps from the deli table and if you’re buying a gift,  you can customize your own gift packaging!
  • Test/smell – Test out the entire range and see what excites your senses

It is truly worth a visit and I promise you won’t be able to leave empty handed!

My favourite products from Rain are their essential oils (Jasmine is my fave), their unique reed diffuser branches and their Bio1ogie range of foot products… review on those babies coming soon!

The hand cream is also a lovely product and a perfect handbag size!

Price wise, Rain products are affordable, and considering they are hand made using good quality raw materials and organic whenever they have the option, their prices are quite competitive!
