I’ts been just over a week that I’ve been indulging in the gorgeous La Mer Moisturizing Creme Gel, and my skin has never looked better. As you may remember from my first diary blog post, my skin was feeling rather dry and quite irritable, with icky spots as well. Well, after only a week and a bit of consistent use of this “Miracle in a Bottle”, twice a day, my skin feels like new!
It’s smoother, feels fantastic and the spots have almost completely disappeared. I no longer have dry patches and it definitely feels more radiant and more youthful. (I went to a wedding on Saturday night and a fresh-faced 22 year old was shocked that I was 28 years old. She thought I was round about the same age as her…. bonus!)
The texture of my skin feels amazing too. It’s almost as though it has been lifted and has tightened (without the surgery!) Mind you, my skin was no where near sagging (thank goodness for that), but it definitely feels firmer than before and it looks a lot less tired. Even the delicate area surrounding my eye area has improved, and I haven’t even been using a specialised eye cream to target that skin.
Now, I must tell you apart from my skin feeling silky smooth and sensational, which is a blessing on it’s own – I am even more impressed with this product because, now that my skin is in such good condition, my makeup lasts so much longer. Before, even when using the same brand of foundation, the product would appear blotchy after a while and look “cakey” around the nose area, because of the dry skin there. Well no more! My makeup now lasts, I use less and it blends in perfectly, which just goes to prove that gorgeous skin starts with good skin care.
So, here’s to another week of fabulous skin….. can’t wait to see what miracles are in store for me next week 🙂
