Multiple Studs

I’m not big on wearing statement or dangley earrings, but I do love dressing my ears up with cute and quirky studs to create a little story. From plain crystal studs to something more fun, like these alternating arrow earrings, I just love how they look.

Remember the 90’s, where ear piercings, other than on your ear lobes was considered emo and goth? Well, its obvious that this age of ignorance is way past us, and I’m really glad because there’s nothing girlier or more fun than cute ear candy. Am I right?

I’ve got double ear piercings on each ear (I want a third) and a Tragus Piercing in my left ear. A few years back I tried a Helix piercing (which is where I’m wearing my clip on cuff at the moment), but I made the mistake of getting a stud piercing and the butterfly was driving me crazy, so I removed it. I do want to go back for the Helix piercing again, but will definitely go with a sleeper ring, at least until the healing process is done, then I can play!

There are so many cute packs of studs that have different little designs to help you come up with a lot of unique ear candy styles to match your mood. I bought mine ages ago from Top Shop, but I’ve seen them all over the place, from H&M to Lovisa.

Or, you can collect different and unique pieces to create your own ear-teresting story. Here’s a few that I currently have my eye on…

I love the Tragus Piercing – was it sore? I had 3 piercings in each earlobe but now only using 1.

Hey Lalannie. No it wasnt sore. Just a quick prick and then done. I had it done at a tattoo place, so it was with a needle not a piercing gun. The Helix one was with a gun and didn’t hurt much either, but it hurt like hell when it was healing. Would defintely recommend the needle if you decide to do it.

You’re the 2nd person who recommends a needle and not a piercing gun. The piercing gun seems faster and less painful though. Still tempted with the tragus piercing though…

Naah they are about the same. Both over quickly. Plus the needle is better because they get it more accurate. Also with a gun on the Helix for example they can’t put a sleeper so it’s very uncomfortable with a stud and butterfly. Get the needle.
