Bold and beautiful nail colour

I recently had the fun task of trying out some hot new shades of nail colour.  I’ve never been one for bold colours on my finger nails, I don’t know if there’s a frightening image 80’s woman with big (bad) hair and long bright nails buried in my childhood memories, but I’ve never been able to pull off colour on my longer finger nails.  However I recently tried bold shades on my short fingernails and black, blue and brown are among my favourite.

Whatever your preference – if you like bold colour or the more “there but not there” shades, there is one in this selection you’ll love…

1.  I love this gorgeous shade of bronze from Rimmel London – “Double Espresso”.  Looks good with a turquoise top or any other shade of blue.
2.  Not quite red, but a stunning shade of scarlet – “Frankly Scarlet” from Revlon.
3.  Hot pink has never looked sexier thanks to Rimmel London “Magenta Magic”.
4.  A pretty shimmering brown – “Choc Cream” from Yardley
5.  For pure red nails check out “Revlon Red” nail colour from Revlon
6.  For the bold, babe – “Midnight Affair” from Revlon is a gorgeous shade of Midnight Blue that’s as sexy as black, but not quite as harsh.
7.  “Ethereal” from Rimmel London is a soft and pretty pink for girly girls.
8.  The best black I’ve tried so far – “Black Cab” from Rimmel London goes on really nicely, and doesnt need multiple coats, which means no dents and scratches in your paint work.
9.  For elegantly finished nails that are beautifully tinted try Revlon “Iced Mauve”.
