NYE – Party Tricks For Dancing Divas

Well, I can’t believe that today is the last day of 2010 – where did the year go? One thing I do know for sure is that there will be a lot of partying going on tonight, and hopefully, you’ll be rocking into 2011.

I’m sure many of you will be getting all dolled up, so here are some party smarty tricks I’ve been saving to share with you tonight.

Smiling Feet on the dance floor

Don’t let aching feet stop you from dancing the night away and please girls, keep your shoes on! Women who walk around all dressed up and barefoot look super trashy. Now, I understand the whole pain factor – trust me, I’ve been there and (stupidly enough) I continue to go there because I love shoes – the higher the better. But you don’t have to suffer either.

Kiwi have developed a full range of various gel cushions for your feet. The Smiling Feet range includes seven different pairs that target different regions on your feet; ball of foot cushions, heel liners, heel cushions, mini cushions, anti-slip pads, in between the toes and ultra slim gel insoles. These are all great little helpers to ease your agony.

If you’re wearing a pair of shoes that hurt-like-hell when you leave the house, you’re going to suffer. If they are comfy, but you know they will hurt later, pop these cushions into your purse, or if you know you’ll be dancing or standing around a lot, it wouldn’t hurt to slip them into your shoes before you head for the door – smart thinking!

And lastly, if you take your shoes off to dance, please take a pair of flats along – they may not have the va-va-voom of heels, but trust me, they will look far better than dirty feet and who knows what you’ll be stepping into – ewwww!

I’ve seen these, well everywhere so check out your local pharmacy or even the supermarket.

No No Peek a Boobie!
So there you are, dancing the night away, looking like a rockstar diva. At least you think you are. With arms swinging in the air, booties shaking and low cut tops moving around, in addition to having everyone bump you around, the last thing you’d want is a Janet Jackson flash on the dance floor.

UBE Dress Code Clothing Tape comes in a pack of 24 ultra slim, invisible body tape stickies, individually packaged and very easy to use. Use them to keep your clothes put all night!

You’ll find these at Clicks.

Hopefully these little tricks will help you dance the night away without coming “undone”.

I hope you all have a fabulous and safe party and look forward to welcoming 2011 in Style with you, right here on StyleScoop
