Woohoo! It’s the weekend and this week has been an absolute scorcher in Durban! I’ve been living in shorts and vests. I’ve also been super lazy with my makeup, applying the bare minimum, but today I felt like some colour and am feeling rather peachy.
I’m wearing one of the new Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colours -part of the Spring 2012 collection- called “June”. Isn’t it gorgeous? It hits our local counters later this month, but I’ll do a full blog feature on it and some other items in the collection next week, so stay tuned.
I also have the perfect matchy-matchy lip to go with this colour! It’s from Revlon and it’s shade number 013 in the Matte range, called “Smoked Peach” which I layered with a peachy MAC Lipglass called “Silly Girl”.

No way… I was just thinking I need a peach nail varnish! Any suggestions for other brands with a similar colour? Maybe Tip Top or Sally Hansen?
Lol – Peach nails are so yummy! To be honest, I haven’t got anything quite like this nail polish – it’s truly a unique colour! Got some pinky oranges, but nothing peach. Will look out though.
I found something peachy! It’s not as light as yours but it’s still very pretty and the closest to a peach colour I could find among all those corals and pinks. Revlon Top Speed Nail Enamel in Peachy! Best of all it really does dry VERY quickly! I have found a new favourite brand (there goes my budget…)!
